Nowadays, many people are looking for places to visit in China, especially since China has implemented a visa-free policy, right? Today, we will introduce a magnificent natural tourist destination, which is ⛰️Zhangjiajie National Park, also known as Wulingyuan Scenic Area, located in Hunan Province. It is a 5A-rated tourist attraction in China and was the first national park in the country to be registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992. Zhangjiajie National Park covers an area of over 9,500 square kilometers, filled with more than 3,000 towering sandstone pillars that naturally rise from the ground. This place inspired the floating mountain scenes of Pandora in the movie Avatar. There are several must-see spots in Zhangjiajie National Park, including: - Bailong Elevator, the world's highest outdoor glass elevator - Yuanjiejia Scenic Area - A bridge under the sky - Tianzishan Scenic Area - Helong park Given the park's vast area, it takes no less than 4-5 hours to visit all the key spots. The park provides bus services to each location, and the pathways are well-maintained. The views are definitely worth the effort. 🎫Ticket Price: 227 CNY (approximately 1,135 THB for a 4-day pass). However, if you stay at a hotel near the park, you can buy tickets from the hotel at a slightly cheaper price and avoid queuing. 🚖Transportation: If you fly to Changsha, you can take a high-speed train to Zhangjiajie city (2 hours) and then a bus (15 CNY) or charter a taxi (80-100 CNY) to Wulingyuan town, which takes about 1 hour.

The avatar mountains are stunning and you have many spots to shoot amazing pictures. It costs from 30¥ with a bus from Zhangjiajie to Wulingyuan, they’re many affordable hotels in Wulingyuan. The local people are very welcoming and they are a lot of restaurants in which you can enjoy the taste of local food. At the entrance to the forest park they is KFC and Starbucks. Is there anyone who haven’t heard about Zhangjiajie Avatar mountains? I suppose not 😁 one the most famous and popular destinations in China. Our trip started in Changsha where we stayed for half a day. Then by train we departed to Zhangjiajie. Railway station is not very far away from the scenery area, but we waited for taxi for quite some time as arrived late in the evening. The mountains don’t need to be described too much. Amazing. It’s better to see once than hear a hundred times. So just go see it with your own eyes 😁 As expected, many people, but didn’t affect overall experience. Absolutely recommend to visit. P.S. One of a-must-visit location in Hunan province, Zhangjiajie. A place where I felt being covered with mountains, forests, trees and fresh air whenever I climbed inside Wulingyuan (for 2 days). Try having hot coffee at the peak of the mountain under cold weather, you will love the taste. The only reminder to all, make sure to prepare all the covers and raincoat before heading to ZJJ.
