Jinshan is located to the northwest of Zhenjiang city, with an elevation of 43.7 meters and covers an area of 41.6 hectares. The scenery of Jinshan is secluded and naturally beautiful, and it has been one of China's famous tourist destinations since ancient times. In ancient times, Jinshan was an island standing in the middle of the Yangtze River, known as 'a beautiful lotus flower in the heart of the river'. Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Hu described it as 'tree shadows seen in the flowing water, bell sounds heard from both banks'. Northern Song Dynasty scholar Shen Kuo praised it saying, 'Pavilions and towers on both banks connect with the water, north and south of the river reflect the sky in the mirror.' The fish is fresh and tender, full of collagen flavor, the braised pork is sweet but not greasy, very good with rice! The meatballs are also fragrant! The specialty dishes are all delicious! 📍 Xijindu (2 hours) No admission fee This place is really worth a visit! The scenery during the day and night is unique! The historical sites are well preserved, and the streets are quaint and charming! Wearing a new Chinese-style cheongsam for photos, the effect is amazing! Also tried the pot cover noodles! 📍 Yong'an Market (0.5 hours) Lost in a variety of snacks and can't extricate myself... It's too good to stroll around! Pork loin skewers, rice cakes, salted egg yolk pork floss baked buns, rice cakes, Yangzhou yogurt... all kinds of treasure shops! Simply can't finish eating! 🖇️ The museum, consulate, and Xijindu are all in one place, suitable for a walk after a meal. If there's time, you can stroll around City Walk together!
