Wanhe Drum Tower

Wanhe Drum Tower is located on Longjin Road, Lijiang Yi Autonomous County, Huaihua City, on the shore of the east bank of 𣲘 Water. 万和楼又叫万和鼓楼，位于芷江侗族自治县县城舞水河的东岸，主要由中心芦笙楼、琵琶楼、地筒楼与两个对歌楼五个鼓楼组成。中心鼓楼高23.8米，共15层。 万和楼是侗族地区规模最大的鼓楼群。鼓楼是侗家的标志性建筑，一般修在寨头寨尾，也有修在寨中的。它是侗族人集事议事和娱乐的主要场所。鼓楼里有一个很大的火塘供人取暖，楼上置一面大鼓打鼓聚众。鼓楼前有一小坪，叫讲款坪，是旧时寨民们讲款议款(相似于村规民约)的处所 。还有一个大的芦笙坪，那是唱歌跳舞赛芦笙的好地方。
