Weather may vary, but the sea🌊 never fails to show up. This time, heading out to sea towards Dong'ao Island, we didn't catch good weather, and the journey was rough with the waves tossing us about. My companions were seasick, while I felt as comfortable as if I were sleeping in my mother's cradle, probably because I was a daughter of the sea🧜 in a past life. The sea on a rainy day looks somewhat gloomy and stern (all thanks to filters😂), but there's a primitive and solitary beauty to it. The natural beauty of Nansha Bay, Dazhu Bay, and the forest plank road is still worth seeing. The pure white triangular wedding chapel, Honeymoon Pavilion, and Crescent Ring are still striving to create a sweet atmosphere of love. Many places on the island are still under construction, but the hotel and B&B facilities are already quite complete. We booked a panoramic glass sea view room on the mountain, and the view was great, it's just a pity we didn't see the sunrise🌅 Dining options are concentrated near the pier, where you can choose ingredients at the seafood market and have them cooked at a restaurant. We bought lobsters and razor clams that were quite good, but the cream crabs this season had very little cream and were not tasty, and the prices were very flexible😂. There are also bookstores and coffee shops nearby, perfect for whiling away the time. The only means of transportation on the island is the yellow sightseeing car, which departs on the hour and half-hour, with multiple routes, and costs 10 yuan everywhere, which is not very convenient. If you want to play with sand, you can buy it at a convenience store, or rent a set at a convenience point after reaching Xianglu Bay. Second stop: Matchmaker Temple It's in the same place as the Fisher Girl, and interested friends can go up and make a wish. However, you have to climb a short flight of stairs Zhuhai Fisher Girl A very typical check-in spot, where you can learn about the legends of the Fisher Girl, which is quite interesting. Correspondingly, there is the Fisher Man statue in Jingshan Park. Xianglu Bay & Seaside Park The sand at Xianglu Bay is whiter and finer than that at the Seaside Bathing Beach, and many people camp there. The Seaside Park above is also a large camping spot, and if you catch the season, you can also see the cherry blossom garden, and the Youth Forest is also an interesting place. Jingshan Park If you still have energy when you reach here, it is recommended to climb up. If you're tired, take the cable car, but it's not very cost-effective, as it only takes two to three minutes to reach the top of the mountain. The slide is extremely crowded on holidays, and we queued for over two hours, but it was somewhat thrilling, a real roller coaster. The view from the top of the mountain is also very good, but it's advised to bring a light jacket. Evening Ride back to the hotel, and there will be free singing activities on the beaches along the way. You can choose to stop and join in, or just sit and enjoy the sea breeze, because it's really nice. Third Day Dong'ao Island The boat ticket is 100 for the ordinary cabin, 120 for VIP, and we went from Xiangzhou Port to Dong'ao Pier. The whole journey takes about 50 minutes. If it's windy, it will get bumpy after passing the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, so those who get seasick must prepare in advance! After landing on the island, you can choose a sightseeing electric car, with three different routes. Or you can choose to walk, and when you get tired, get on the bus at a bus stop, 10 yuan/person. Our walking route was: Tailang Tea House - Book House (not Shanhaijing, didn't find it this trip) - Resort Hotel - Nanmen Bay (the sea water on the island is much cleaner than in the city, and you can also see a lot of seaweed, plus there are shower rooms, so friends who don't stay on the island don't have to worry about nowhere to shower after swimming) - Plank Road - Gree Dong'ao Hotel - Wedding Hall - Honeymoon Pavilion - Return trip.
