🇧🇼 BOTSWANA If you want to see Africa in its most pristine condition, Botswana is a country worth considering. 🐘🌿 💧 A major highlight is the Okavango Delta, a vast wetland in the middle of the Kalahari Desert, nourished by rivers during the dry season, creating a world of small islands, canals, and grasslands. 🛶 A unique way to explore is by Mokoro, a traditional canoe propelled by pole along the waterways, perfect for quiet nature viewing and getting closer to the ecosystem. 🦁 If you're a safari enthusiast, Chobe National Park is not to be missed, especially the Chobe River area, famous for its large herds of elephants. During the dry season, many animals come to the riverbanks to find water. This makes it an excellent time to see wildlife (Botswana Tourism). 🌿 Another reason why Botswana is special is that the Okavango Delta is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most important inland wetlands.
