Came to Yuehui City near my place this weekend to check out the closing event of the "Guangzhou Coffee Culture Festival." A lot of local, well-regarded coffee shops from Guangzhou and the surrounding areas gathered here. It's so comfortable to enjoy the AC on the weekend. The price range is huge, from affordable options in the teens (CNY) to Panama Geisha, you can choose what you need (by the way, the Qicheng Coffee booth selling Panama Geisha was surprisingly quiet). Besides coffee, there are cakes and small snacks to pair with it. If you find beans you like, you can buy them to take home. Today's check-in list 📝 ✅ Experienced an Indonesian coffee bean cupping event ☕. I was quite impressed by the "Sun-dried Dragon Fruit" and a specially processed "Mandheling." ✅ Zhuhai's "Second Life" coffee shop 🥕, gotta love the Mayday fans! ✅ Highly recommend 💛 "Coffee Traveler," a shop specializing in Guizhou regional drinks. Grown in Southern Guizhou, opened in Hangzhou — tried No. 1 "Guizhou Prickly Pear," soft and refreshing, the dense (I think) nitrogen milk foam tasted great ✨. Really wanted to try the No. 2 Litsea cubeba flavor, but I'm too full to drink any more. Coming back tomorrow. Integrating Guizhou products into coffee, not abrupt, not sharp, it's really well done. There was also a folk song and dance performance 💃 brought by "Pu'er Culture and Tourism" — it was the local "Liehu Siblings" singing group from Pu'er, Yunnan, from the Lahu ethnic group. There were more folk performances later, but the leaders' speeches were too long, so I gave up 😂. The event runs until Sunday, can come back tomorrow!
