JingGloria: I brought my parents on a trip to Puer and stayed at this hotel. It was an absolute 10/10 experience—both the service and the facilities were top-notch. I found it especially friendly for seniors and children. They offer a late-night snack which is easy on older stomachs, and the breakfast spread is very rich. The service truly felt thoughtful, heartwarming, and reassuring. The in-room amenities were also of very high quality (I'm totally obsessed with their body lotion now!). We slept really well as it was very quiet. The location is also fantastic, very close to Daijia Lane, the Tea-Horse Ancient City, and Wuyi Night Market. If I have the chance to visit Puer again, I will definitely stay here.

Guest User: My stay at The De Ting Hotel Pu'er Tea Mountain branch can be summed up as ”10/10 service, but the facilities need some work.” Let's start with what impressed me the most—the service was simply top-notch. From the moment I walked in, every staff member greeted us with a warm smile. You could really feel their genuine hospitality, rather than just rehearsed politeness. I have to give a full 5 stars for this; it was definitely the highlight of the stay. However, the hotel might be quite new. I had high expectations for the ”Rainforest Garden” when booking, but upon arrival, I found that some areas were still not fully renovated, and there was a pungent chemical smell. The odor in the room hadn't completely dissipated either. Since I have rhinitis and am quite sensitive to smells, this bothered me a bit more personally. All in all, the service outweighed the actual room experience this time. While the hardware has room for improvement, the service team's performance definitely makes me willing to give them a second chance. If I visit Pu'er again in the future, I'd still consider staying here, and I hope the hotel will be even better by then.

Guest User: The hotel is right by the old street, so the location is excellent. The lobby is spacious and grand, you wouldn't even guess it's on a rooftop, and the tea room is very quiet. The room is big and the bed is huge. When it's cool in the morning or evening, sitting on the outdoor lounge chairs, sipping tea and chatting, is incredibly relaxing. There are plenty of charging outlets, which is a huge plus. Just a small suggestion for improvement: the hairdryer in the bathroom is a Kangfu, which doesn't quite match the hotel's high-end vibe. On humid days, it takes a long time to dry long hair. I'd suggest upgrading to a Flyco or better – a Laifen or Dyson would be even more ideal.

Jingyingleinana: The rice noodles at breakfast were exceptionally delicious, definitely a highlight! We had an early flight, landing around 6 AM on our check-in day, so by 1 PM we were all starving, including the kids. They told us we could go for lunch, and we expected a simple meal, but it turned out to be a buffet even more lavish than breakfast. After getting up early and driving for two hours, getting a free hotel buffet meal instantly made us feel incredibly happy! Unfortunately, we were out exploring on the following two days and missed out. The laundry room had plenty of washers and dryers. We also received small gifts at both check-in and check-out. Next time I'm in Pu'er, I will definitely stay here again!

Lalalalaoyo: On my second day in Pu'er, Jianhua International Hotel truly 'cured' me; a perfect stay can alleviate all the fatigue from traveling. Before booking, I was really hesitant because I saw some warning posts about Jianhua on Xiaohongshu and was quite worried. But in the end, I booked three nights, mainly because the value for money was unbeatable. Staying in a luxury hotel for less than 500 during the off-season? What's not to love, haha! After checking in, our first room faced a residential area. I called the front desk to ask if we could switch to a room with a better view, thinking there might be vacancies since it was the off-season. The front desk attendant immediately replied and upgraded us. Thanks to his help, my mood brightened up considerably. The attendant who brought our new room cards even helped us carry our luggage to the new room. After moving to a higher floor, he proactively asked if our child needed a bed rail, children's slippers, and a toothbrush. Everything was delivered promptly, and the person who installed the bed rail was very efficient. I was so satisfied with this level of service and thoughtfulness. As for the hardware, it's top-notch. It's newly renovated but has no unpleasant smells, and it's clean and spacious. Each room is about 60 square meters, with a very hygienic wet/dry separation. What I'm most satisfied with is the soundproofing! I was really traumatized by hotels in Kunming [crying emoji]. The breakfast gets a big thumbs-up – a mix of Chinese and Western, with local specialties. Tell me, isn't that worth it? What 'warnings' are there to avoid? The only downside is that there's no robot delivery for takeaways. I ordered a lot of food, and each time a staff member delivered it. Although they never complained, I felt really bad. So, for subsequent orders, my husband and I went to the takeaway locker ourselves.

geyongl: Traveling during the National Day holiday, the price was a bit higher than hotels in the city center, but this newly opened one is very close to the high-speed train station and offers shuttle service. The hotel's decor is quite unique, with a rainforest ambiance. We booked a room with a terrace bathtub, and the tub experience was great. You can even shower directly on the balcony, which has privacy screens and sunshades, plus they provided bubble bath amenities. On the first floor, there's a pool and some simple children's facilities, which the kids loved. Breakfast, lunch, and late-night snacks are all available; the late-night snack was a substantial rice noodle dish. The only downside was that the hot water in the shower wasn't very consistent, but the rainfall showerhead was excellent. Overall, we were satisfied.

Anci Zhang: I compared several hotels before coming here, and after seeing many positive reviews about Der Ting's service, I finally booked it. The experience was indeed very good. As soon as I arrived, a staff member helped with my luggage and even brought it to my room. During check-in, they offered tea and introduced the free snacks in the lobby. After check-out, they also helped carry my luggage to the car. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but there was enough variety, and the chicken soup rice noodles for supper were also quite tasty. Overall, it was a very good stay.
