1st visit and will be a regular for sure on our annual vacation to the area. Fabulous food, we enjoyed fillet steaks, sole &amp; pork for mains. Such great value for delicious food. A must visit!! We loved the owner singing away with his guitar - made the night for us!! Atmosphere spot on!!

Been coming to this restaurant now for about 15 years and never fails to deliver. The food is amazing and the service is always great. Really good value for steak compared to many other steak restaurants in QDL

Amazing food, everything was delicious. The chef was really nice and kind, always coming to the tables to talk. Really nice experience.The father&rsquo;s chef was really cute and nice guy, coming to the tables and sharing his life experiences. It was really nice to listen to him.

If you haven&rsquo;t been you really must go! It&rsquo;s beautiful the location, view, ambience especially if live music on, FOOD and service outstanding. The attention to detail with the whole experience, you really don&rsquo;t want your meal to end. Our second favourite in the world!! Four Seasons Fairways have a little gem there x

Genuinely a lovely restaurants to visit and the owners should b v proud of what Gamboa has achieved.  Highly recommended.

absolutely a must if you want a real Portugal restaurant with genuine people who are just lovely.  food is out of this world at extremely fair prices you will want to give a 15 to 20% tip. I know i do.  I just think if your a local you already know what I mean, but if your new to Almancil and looking for great food, excellent prices with a little bit of entertainment  then this is the place to try and your be back again.  Enjoy

We thoroughly enjoyed yet another outstanding meal at Gamboa. The sole was ample and cooked to perfection and the sides were delicious also. The service was, as always, impeccable and the guitar to finish the evening was very much enjoyed. Gamboa exceeds expectations,

Food is excellent, staff are efficient and friendly, The live music at the end of the evening is not good and unnecessary.

Excellent quality fresh fish and meat dishes,  a great selection of wines, superb service! Would highly recommend this restaurant, we will return.

Food and service perfect. Unfortunately couldn&#39;t avail myself of a full meal due to other issues, but my choice of a starter was accepted without a quibble.

This is a really nice restaurant with a good menu. The flaming chorizo needed a bit more oil to get it hot and cook out some of the fat but the bread with it was delicious. We all had the beef skewers for main which were great. The puddings were amazing. The staff were friendly and helpful.

the staff were super friendly and the food was delicious. it&#39;s good value for Portugal too. the chorizo starter was fantastic and generous. the combo and fries were delicious especially the chicken. there was a good atmosphere with music playing. they gave us a lemoncillo free at the end and everyone got a complimentary soup at the start. definitely one to go to if you like good food and tasty fries.
