Ugly Butterfly by Adam Handling

This small restaurant is located in Trevarak in St Ephes Le Rand, Cornwall, next to Lake Nansi, with a beautiful view. The most recommended thing about this restaurant is that the cake desserts are very delicious and cheap. It is so pleasant to have coffee and dessert while enjoying the scenery!

My partner asked for cod rather than haddock and was told not available. Lady on next table had already told us she had ordered and received cod, but assumed just a mix up. Other customer came in and ordered cod and was told yes they could have it. When confronted with this the waiter said my partner had not ordered cod, suggesting she was lying. We then talked to the manager who said there had been a mistake, however that she had indeed been served cod, which it clearly was not. It was a most bizarre incident following up with a bill for the full amount. The food itself was also sub standard . The menu here is not cheap to say the least, and the offering on this occasion well below an acceptable standard, not to mention the appalling service. Buck your ideas up !

This western restaurant is located on Pier Road in St Ives, Cornwall. It is a very stylish restaurant. Although it is called the kitchen, the dining environment is actually quite good. The western recipes here are very rich, the various foods are exquisite and the service is very good.
