I don&rsquo;t know how it got such great reviews. It was almost like I was in another restaurant. The food was very mediocre and disappointing.

Maybe it was our fault of not realising it&rsquo;s more a wine bar than a restaurant! Excellent food but too pricy compared to other excellent Eateries in Puglia. .

You would not expect a pizzaria in a strip mall to deliver this kind of quality. Not that it is impossible, but even most large houses do not take the trouble to source ingredients and provide caring service. Mauricio, as we learned, started his business on a shoestring 14 years ago. It has since blossomed post COVID. He expanded into the space next door. He sources the most exquisite cheeses from a young group of artisan cheesmakers from  the North. It&#39;s a king of gorgonzola that is dreamy, get some with your appetizer plate is coppocola, uncooked creamy prosciutto, and a craft beer and you are set to order one of his delicious pizzas. What a great time it was to hear of his philosophy and business success. If you don&#39;t feel like going out they also deliver. Super high quality ingredients, hell even the pepper is sourced from Madagascar. Skip the overpriced  fancy places in Lecce, dine like the locals , treat yourself to Pizza Carpe Diem

Food and beverages are overpriced. With the 50% TheFork discount we payed like it was a normal price in anywhere else restaurant.

Friendly and helpful staff helped navigate the menu.  Food and wine were very good. Good ambience with groups of diners of all ages

This restaurant was just outside the city walls so felt more like a lovely neighbourhood restaurant than a touristy one.   The staff were lovely, strong English and explained various dishes on a menu that was varied and more inventive than alot of the restaurants we have been to in the old city. The food was superb, reasonably priced and special mention to the lemon and raspberry tirimisu....delicious!

A wonderful spot for traditional Pugliese and Salentino dining only a few steps away from downtown. Friendly and accommodating service, as well as great food. Recommended!

A traditional restaurant, with excellent local dishes (we had burrito and pasta), and good local wines (we had Primitivo).We went for a late Sunday lunch at 2pm, and it was all very relaxed.Well situated in Central Lecce  but a short distance away from the tourists and baroque churches in the atmospheric old town.Altogether a very positive experience.

Wow, really the best pasta I have ever eaten (and that says a lot!). Very friendly and modest staff. Really homemade meals with attention to the guests.

A brilliant restaurant with great customer service. Food took us by surprice as it was something you&rsquo;d expect your Nonna to make, rustic home made food, which was utterly delicious. A refrencing change from your typical restaurant food. The restaurant is just outside the old site so outside the tourist area but worth a visit if you are in Lecce.

Great food, great and personal service on a typical little Lecce square. Plates are presented in an original and sophisticated manner. In Italy, service staf can often be hurried, uninterested and distant. Not at Bianchodibiancho. Staff is friendly, take their time to explain the dishes and are attentive. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for dinner.

Great decor, very intimate setting in a backyard style garden. Classic traditional food cooked very well. Everything you would expect from a Trattoria, with style.

We like it here, the food is always authentic Italian, Very nice place to eat, never had a bad meal, and the owner always remembers his customers&hellip; from the outside you wouldn&rsquo;t think it is as big as it is! We will go back a few times before returning back to UK , but we will always be back here&hellip;
