The service and environment are really beautiful.

For my sister&#39;s birthday she wanted to come for a treat so my mom and I indulged her. But I must say we were impressed with the whole experience. It&#39;s in a pretty upscale spot in Phoenix and you can feel the vibe as soon as you walk in. I couldn&#39;t really tell who the server was, though. Anyway, once we introduced ourselves, everything was fine. He was very affable and made our experience there fun. To start, we got the Brussels Sprouts and Crab Cakes on a Grits. Absolutely delicious - the grits were creamy and smooth; the sprouts were perfect. I ordered a small order of the Parsley Garlic Chicken with risotto. The skin on the chicken could have been a little crispier but it was well seasoned and the sun-dried tomatoes gave it a slightly tangy taste. Definitely recommend.

The food was very average and very expensive.  We went for breakfast/brunch. Nice place and courteous service, but will not return or recommend.

As 2 couples over 60 with a reservation on a Saturday evening, our first impression was the restaurant wasn&apos;t super busy.  However without asking, the hostess took us through the restaurant out through the first patio and to the back or 2nd patio. I asked to be seated in the first patio which wasn&apos;t a problem since there were many open tables. Service was good. It was the food that wasn&apos;t. I ordered seabass which came with  hockey puck of rice and a blob of cooked spinach. My husband ordered half a rack of smoked ribs which weren&apos;t fully cooked so he returned them without ordering another entree. The other person at our table who ordered the ribs ate only a bit but didn&apos;t want to return them. There was no charge for my husband&apos;s meal. I think the final blow was the manager in a suit came to survey the room. Looked over at our table and left. No acknowledgement of us or the meal. 

Great setting lousy food

We recently ate at McArthur for breakfast recently and didn’t find anything exceptional.  The menu itself was limited.  The omelets I ordered was really really good.  However, my wife ordered the acai bowl which was excessively sweet and partially frozen.  The kids’ cereal options included either Fruit Loops or Frosted Flakes.  Service was fine.  We sat inside, but there was an option to sit outside as well.  When staying at the Biltmore, it’s convenient to have a casual meal at the hotel…..  but for the price, the value wasn’t there.

Not bad but not great

We had breakfast and a light lunch several times during our stay at the Arizona Biltmore. The hosts, hostesses, and servers were consistently friendly and attentive, and the food and beverages very good. Various Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired design touches gave this a more upscale look than a typical hotel restaurant.

Very Good General Resort Restaurant

1 Really weak menu and extremely overpriced . We have been coming here for over 20 years and have seen a consistent decline over the last couple of years. The new menu has completely turned us off. Especially the pricing.

Anyway, once we introduced ourselves, everything was fine. He was affable and made our experience there interesting. First, we got Brussels sprouts and crab cakes on a layer of gravel. Absolutely delicious - frosted is creamy and smooth; buds are perfect. I ordered a little Italian garlic chicken with Italian stew. The skin of the chicken could have been a little more crispy, but its seasoning was good and the sun-dried tomatoes made it a bit sour and hot. Definitely recommended.
