It was a wonderful experience and we are very satisfied.  I love the attention to detail in every dish and the use of the best ingredients from the region.  We already want to return! The steak tartar was excellent!

Excellent blend of tastes with perfectly sized portions

I went to Nexe for my birthday. The restaurant staff made the additional effort to explain which dishes contained dairy (as I am dairy intolerant). Certain dishes on the menu were also suitable for me without any modifications and there was a dessert which did not contain dairy which often is not considered. The dishes were creative, the atmosphere was good and the experience was enjoyable.

I made a reservation after searching for options at the Michelin guide. The event was the birthday of my 83yo father in law, and I&rsquo;d bring him for dinner. He loves good restaurants and have always taken me to great ones in Girona. He lost his son (my husband) and I came to spend his birthday with him. I mentioned the celebration on the reservation. Restaurant was clean, contemporary style - cement and black marble. You can sit at the bar and watch cooking or table. Service was really weak. They were kind, but many mistakes. Every time I needed something I had to waive, nobody would check at our table. Appetizers were very good (oysters, croquetas and tomato soup), but food was kind of poor. The rodaballo was tasty, but arrived minutes before my plate, the lamb baklava. Baklava was beautiful but nothing special. Came with half a spoon of green peas and yogurt. They charged two wrong items on the check, I had to send it back twice. I wouldn&rsquo;t go back. Paid &euro;120 for 2 people 3 course.

Beautifully designed restaurant with delicious food in the Spanish tradition with a modern execution. Lovely experience
