The restaurant is very stylishly decorated! Signature pasta, salad, sandwiches are large and delicious! excellent service! The disadvantage is that the toilet is mixed with men and women! Praise!

Hungry and thirsty after touring the botanic gardens, we asked our guide to suggest where we should go. He and the receptionist both smiled to themselves when they mentioned Veejays which seemed a good sign so we went in search to find this place. Every local knows it so that wasn&#39;t difficult apart from navigating through traffic and shockingly bad roads. The food is authentic local. Even the drinks are home-made, or at least seemed so and all we ate was delicious. The entrance is to the side, which effectively cuts off the dusty road traffic and the clean, cool and comfortable place to sit and enjoy our lunch was much appreciated. Food is served buffet style so you can have as much or as little as fits your appetite. We would go back!

Kirk Bailey, our cab driver/tour guide recommended this. It&#39;s popular with both locals and tourists in the know. There is a small cafeteria style area where you order. You can order from the wall menu or the &quot;buffet&quot; (which they serve you from). We did both. I had a buffet meal of fried fish, rice, provisions and salad. The meal was so large I had to share it! My husband and grown kids had the rotis from the menu, as did my niece. Again, generous portion with a side salad. When ordering from the menu be prepared to wait a little bit as they will need to make your meal for you. There is air conditioning in the small dining area where you can wait while your food is being prepared. We had a vegetarian, lactose intolerant, and low carb diners in our group and there was ample selection for all of us.

Seems like everyone in Kingston wanted us to try this restaurant but the food left much to be desired. Mayve it was because we came late in the day and had leftovers

The first day on St. Vincent we started off our holidays with amazing meal at Veejays. We had great prawns, conch and great rotti - delicious with very attentive waitress. She shared with us tips where to go and what to see. We could not wish for a better start! As we had such an outstanding experience there we had no doubts that&#39;s the place where we want to finish our holidays before leaving the island. This time it was totally the opposite story. It was 11.30am and no-one came to serve us for 45 mins. Because we were sea sick after an exhausting boat ride we simply accepted it and waited for 45 mins until my partner got better and went downstairs to get some drinks. After that we waited another 30 mins wondering if someone is going to get our lunch order. Of course no one came. So my partner went downstairs again and ordered the easiest one on the menu as we were running out of time before we had to head off to the airport. 50 mins later and we still did not have our steak and fries. After few chasers we finally got our meal which would not even got one star. If I was feeling well, I would have walked out after first 15 minutes of waiting... And conclusion? Like every establishment everything is down to its staff and I don&#39;t think we just been lucky on that day. I will give it one more shot next time, but I am already skeptical.
