Allabona Lucca is a cute little restaurant in the city center. Very minimal decor and features but by no means shabby. The menu is varied and vey traditional tuscan indeed. Everything is well presented but with no frills, the ingedients are noticeably of very good quality and skillfully prepared by the chef. The staff is young, fresh, polite and the service is attentive, mindful, professional and never invasive. All in all a very enjoyable experience. I reccommend a visit.

Just had pizzas, and those were good. However... we&#39;d booked a table, but had to wait for 10 mins to be seated. It was cold - my wife had to put her coat back on. It wasn&#39;t warm outside, so you&#39;d have thought they&#39;d have turned on the heater over the (open) door, but they hadn&#39;t. There was quite a long wait before our orders were taken, then a another long wait before our food arrived. Our young waitress was apologetic - she was good, but the other 2 older more senior staff didn&#39;t seem that bothered. If I was the waitress I&#39;d be looking for a job elsewhere.We can&#39;t recommend it based on today&#39;s experience.

Great little family run restaurant. Good food, fair prices. The owner and staff were very kind and helpful with suggestions. A must try when you are in Luca.

Fun and creative menu with the best local produce. Excellent wine pairing. Worth going to!

The restaurant is run by Costantino, Clara and Victor. Clara is a genius in the kitchen adding an exotic twist to all her dishes. Costantino is very knowledgeable as far as wines are concerned and advises you according to your choice of food. Victor presents the dishes brought to your table with passion and describes them beautifully. The menu changes every month which makes it interesting. This is our favourite restaurant in Lucca.

Allabona was a comfortable and extraordinarily hospitable place for dinner. The food was good, with several choices for vegetarians that were tasty (in particular we liked the ravioli and the fagioli all&#39;uccelletta. The Zuppa Toscana was good but not great).  Service was excellent: kind, informative and patient. Prices were very fair. Inside is a bit noisy and bright, but cute all the same! Recommend.

Also if we arrived earlier without advising, they&#39;ve been able to find a table for us. Maybe the prices a bit too high, but good food, good &quot;Eco friendly&quot; initiative, and Great staff. I&#39;ll be back for sure ????

A nice restaurant with good quality, traditional Tuscan food. We enjoyed egg pasta with wild boar ragu, pumpkin soup etc. The sustainability concept is admirable but I felt something was lost when eating such good food with (biodegradable) plastic plates and cutlery. Service was welcoming and kind, but a little slow and hesitant.

Our first visit to Lucca and an unexpected find! Warm friendly service. Family friendly restaurant. Tuscan traditional food with modern twist, local ingredients. The pasta dishes were amazing and the side dishes were heartyas well. Highly recommend this restaurant for lunch or dinner with family. They also provided a coloring page and pencils to my youngest daughter to draw.
