Naritasan Shinshō-ji, nestled in central Narita, Chiba, is a revered Shingon Buddhist temple steeped in centuries of tradition. Established in 940 by Kanchō Daisōjō, a disciple of Kōbō Daishi, its significance resonates through the ages. As a lead temple in the Chisan branch of New Shingon, it stands as a beacon of spiritual enlightenment. The temple complex, a testament to architectural splendor, offers visitors a profound journey into Japanese Buddhism. It is worth a visit, not far from Narita Airport, belonging to the Secret Sect Buddhism. The gardens in Narita Mountain Park next to the temple are beautiful, belonging to a typical Japanese courtyard, and the scenery is different in the four seasons.
There are many shops from Omotesando, Naritayama Shinshoji Temple. Senbei, ice cream, souvenirs, and emotions are full. It may be noted that there are a little lot of car streets.
