Had a great dinner at Hartsyard with friends. The small restaurant had a good atmosphere and the service was efficient and polite. Staff were happy to recommend dishes and cocktails to match. We had a bit of everything and the highlights were - confit carrot, smoky sweet potato and that fried chicken! Dessert was yum too and the bill didn&#39;t make us cringe.

Setting that aside, this is just nice and easy to eat American food - junk food like poutine and pulled pork stuff, lots of very good tasty things. My personal favorite of course was the 100% Halal certified Bacon Martini! It has a candied bacon in the drink and the bourbon is a very smoky variety. 100%
