Bring mommy to dinner on the top floor of the Peninsula Hotel! Mommy with a Chinese stomach seems to be lacking in interest in French food, but she is amazed at the beautiful night view of Paris outside the window! ​

L'Oiseau Blanc

We had an OK experience. We visited on Thursday evening. It was busy and wait staff was hoping. The food was good. I ordered the Flank Steak w/pepper sauce and frites. I requested the steak medium rare and it came out blue/cold. We had the snails and egg appetizers. They were very good. My wife had the marinated chicken and zucchini. It was good. I had chocolate Mouse for dessert. It was excellent. My wife had the creme brulee. It was just ok. I guess our expectations were high because it was Paris. Total experience was a 7 out of 10.

I&#39;m unsure if the middle aged gentleman was the proprietor, but he was very nice and courteous. Although the young lady who was our server didn&#39;t speak much English (and sadly my French is non-existent), she was very pleasant, helpful, and child understand is quite well. The food and wine were all excellent: I started with the escargot which had the traditional prep with the addition of pesto and grated fresh ginger...it was fantastic! My wife and I both had the St. Jacque scallops which was also delicious. We finished our dinners by sharing the apple tart and toffee ice cream... all very good! We really enjoyed this establishment and highly recommend it!

Staff were wonderful with the right balance of attention and distance.  Very friendly.  Food was excellent - rich but not too rich. Flavours were divine.  Presentation was creative. Chef&#39;s Melody menu was good value at Euro 65, but at Euro 25, a single glass of champagne much less so. Overall, a very relaxed, enjoyable lunch.

I had a great meal there. This restaurant was recommended by the receptionist at my hotel. The food was great and the service was excellent. Prices were reasonable considering what you got. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for delicious french cuisine.

Nice restaurant and the food was tasty, but the service was really not great unfortunately.  No to little attention given to the guests, it&rsquo;s really a shame because this place has so much potential.
