Wondering where to visit during Cherry Blossom 🌸 season in Korea? Here’s my brief itinerary and sharing, hope it’s useful for everyone 🫶 On Day 1, we kick started our day at Yeouido Hangang Park, where cherry blossoms line the Han River, creating a stunning backdrop for a leisurely stroll or a picnic. We were there during the weekend to prevent crowds! 🤣 * Based on experience* As we were not able to get any good photos during the weekend during our last trip here! ( Weekday + Early Morning 💯) We then headed to Tosokchon Samgyetang for their famous ginseng chicken soup. This restaurant is housed in a traditional Korean building and is renowned for its nourishing and flavorful samgyetang. It was so good especially during cold weather 🙌 Tosokchon Samgyetang 📍5 Jahamun-ro 5-gil, Jongno-gu, Seoul) We also explored Gyeongbokgung Palace, the largest of the Five Grand Palaces built during the Joseon Dynasty. The palace grounds are adorned with cherry blossom trees, adding to its majestic beauty. On the next day, we hiked up to N Seoul Tower in Namsan Park for breathtaking views of Seoul blanketed in cherry blossoms. The tower offers panoramic vistas of the city, and during cherry blossom season, the surrounding area is awash in pink hues. Can you imagine how beautiful it is? 🌸🌸🌸 We then explored the bustling streets of Myeongdong and indulge in street food from various vendors. Myeongdong is famous for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse culinary offerings, making it the perfect spot for a quick and flavorful lunch. This place is a MUST, if you’re a big fan of local street food 🥘 On the third day, we explored the Seokchon Lake Park, where cherry blossoms frame the picturesque lake, creating a postcard-worthy scene. Take a leisurely stroll along the paths or rent a paddleboat to enjoy the scenery from the water. After exploring around we went to Gogung for out favorite bibimbap, a traditional Korean rice dish. This restaurant is renowned for its bibimbap, which is served in a hot stone bowl and topped with an array of fresh vegetables and savory sauces. 💯💯💯 Gogung 📍33-9 Myeongdong 10-gil, Jung-gu, Seoul). We also visited Lotte World Tower, one of Seoul's iconic landmarks, and ascend to the observation deck for panoramic views of the city adorned in cherry blossoms. The tower stands as a symbol of Seoul's modernity and offers unparalleled vistas of the surrounding landscape. On the last day in Seoul, we had our dinner at the Han River Cruise Terminal before embarking on a Han River cruise. Have you really been to Korea without visiting Namsan Seoul Tower? The panoramic view of Seoul is simple breathtaking. There were cool exhibitions before getting on the elevator! Me and my friend opted for a scenic hike and it was a good decision as we saw a trail of cherry blossom trees. Else, you can also take a cable car up or a bus up! Go at sunset timing to enjoy both sunset and night view. The love locks are outside and if you are going with your partner, be sure to put one too 💖 Tip: Buy your observatory tickets online to save $$ #koreatrip

We took bus from Jangchungdan park’ bus station to namsan tower. They stopped us at the foot of the mountain, so we had to do a little hiking to the namsan tower. Not complaining, because we got to see the picturesque view of foliage along the hiking trails 🍂 What to do : -Popular love lock -Observatory for 360 degree panoramic view of seoul (but you have to pay Adult: ₩21,000 / Senior (age 65 & above) & Child (age 13 & above): ₩16,000) -Adventure theme parks -Game arcade -Hiking trails -Hot photo-taking spot -A lot of dining options, we just had light snacks here: icecream churros and cheeseball. #cherryblossom2024 The Seoul Tower in Nanshan is such a classic spot and the southern mountains in autumn are truly stunning! 🍂 On both sides of the road, you'll find lovely light pink cherry blossom trees, perfect for both exercise and enjoyment, especially when combined with the South Mountain Pagoda. The photos you can capture there are truly amazing! The cherry blossoms have a short peak time, usually just about a week, so it's important to make the most of this romantic sight. 🌸 You can opt for a cable car or bus to reach Seoul Tower in Nanshan, but I highly recommend walking up the mountain! The scenery along the way, from the mountain to the road, is absolutely beautiful, offering plenty of photo opportunities. 🚠🌳 Starting from Exit 3 of Mingdong Subway Station, you'll find Manga Street, filled with adorable manga characters and graffiti. Follow the path up to Nanshan, where you'll discover numerous hiking trails for climbing. 🏞️

Several years ago, when I first came to Korea, I went to the Seoul Tower to see the night view. This time, I wanted to see the night view again, and after much thought, there was no better place than the N Seoul Tower. 🔺Route: Coming out of the Myeongdong subway station, follow the mural street uphill. After passing the Namsan pork cutlet street, you will see the Namsan Tower cable car station. Here, you can buy a round-trip ticket and then wait to board. The cable car can take you directly to a place close to the base of the tower. ⚠️If you simply want to see the night view, then this is enough, and there is no need to buy a ticket to go up the tower, because from here you can see the night view of Myeongdong and many parts of Seoul. ⚠️If it is your first time in Korea and you want to go up the tower, you can directly buy a ticket at the window under the Seoul Tower. Then, you will be given a number with many digits, which is the interval for your queue to go up the tower. The entrance will call out numbers. The area on top of the Seoul Tower is not very large, and it also takes some time to queue up and down the stairs, so if you just want to see the night view, you actually don't need to buy a ticket; you can just watch from below.

Why is it called N Seoul Tower? I later learned from the introduction that the 'N' stands for Namsan, the first letter of Namsan, and it also carries the meaning of 'New'. The tower is 236.7 meters tall, built in 1975, and is the second tallest tower in the world after the Moscow Tower (which stands at 537 meters). N Seoul Tower is the most famous landmark in Seoul, and many Korean dramas have been filmed here, such as 'My Love from the Star'. It is now a favorite spot for young people. Take the cable car up to Namsan, and a 5-minute walk after getting off the cable car will take you to the plaza at the base of the tower! There, you can see the artillery and the famous octagonal pavilion~~~ To go up the tower, you need to buy a separate ticket, and inside the tower, there is also a teddy bear museum to visit. Around the outdoor observation deck of the tower, you can see the famous 'love locks'. There seem to be hundreds of thousands of them, densely packed and in a variety of colors, making for a spectacular sight. It's a must-visit place for couples. The love locks are not only for locking in love but also for family affection and any other wishes and thoughts~~~ Overlooking Seoul at sunset, it's beautiful!

#koreatrip Personally recommend to visit this N-Seoul Tower by walking instead of cable car (for youngster-mid age only). Reason being you will be able to enjoy more sight seeing by foot, enjoy the peaceful mountain view, a lot of autumn flower and trees, and lastly the chilly weather! There are restaurants and cafes up to the tower ground floor, do stay there for at least 1 hour to fully enjoy the view and blend into the nature! Psst! Remember to wear sport shoe if you are going up by foot.
