St Joseph's Church (Victoria Street)

St. Joseph's Church has been closed since August 1, and Latin Mass has been transferred to nearby St. Peter's and Paul's Church, a Catholic church on Victoria Street. Built in 1904, the Gothic revival style shaped as a Latin cross. It replaced the San Jose church in the area before, built by the Portuguese delegation, with a low square tower.

One of Singapore's ancient Catholic churches, just renovated, the exterior walls are freshly painted but not lost to her ancient style. The most lively day is the event on the night of Good Friday Good Friday, which is very traditional and only a few churches in Singapore have this event.

There happened to be a wedding when I went, so I didn't go into the church. The grass behind was also good, there were cushions, and the cradle was on the grass. The sun is just right and leisurely. Singapore is so clean and likes the feeling of sitting on the floor.

This is a Catholic church, the location is good to find, not far from the parliament, the architectural style is very warm. The best thing is that there is ice water in the church, which is necessary for a hot country like Singapore.
