The hotel's facilities are a bit old, but it's very clean, especially the sheets and bedding. There's also a balcony, which is great for drying clothes. The two staff members at the front desk, Sophie and her colleague (I'm sorry, I can't remember the other name!), were incredibly warm, friendly, and professional. They patiently answered all our questions. The hotel's location is excellent; it's within a ten-minute walk to the museum, Jame' Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque, the market, the water village jetty, and the bus terminal. Taxis are very scarce in this country, so being close to public transport is a huge advantage. To the left of the hotel is a supermarket, and to the right is a restaurant with affordable food. A big thank you to the hotel for the free airport transfer and the helpful tour map. My main purpose for this trip was to photograph proboscis monkeys, and the jetty offers convenient speedboat access to the Brunei River mangroves.

Need to pay special attention of the location of the hotel (room) during your booking. No need to pass the border during the transfer. Good room with clean towel and toilet.

Excellent location - really recommend staying here so you can walk to the Gadong night market and also the mall :) our private room was cosy and clean. The lady who checked us in was very friendly. Bathroom was adequate - only downside was the wifi barely worked at all but this seemed to be an issue throughout the country

Abdul Razak Hotel Apartments is a very excellent option for the travelers who prefers to stay in a convenient but relatively quiet place. Also, the facility and the staff are superior to make sure your stay will be pleasant while you visit Bandar Seri Begawan :)

Good location, in the city center, three minutes walk to Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque, three minutes walk to Sultan Memorial Hall, two minutes walk to Water Village Pier, less than one minute walk to Brunei Royal Plaza, two minutes walk to the shopping center, there is a large supermarket in the basement of the shopping center, all kinds of goods are very complete. There are many restaurants in the shopping center, which is convenient for eating. I checked out of the original hotel before 12 noon because of the flight at 2 am the next day, and temporarily booked a small single room to rest and take a shower before going to the airport. The price is relatively cheap, the main disadvantage is that there is only one bathroom for all the rooms in the youth hostel, and the toilet and shower are all in it. If there are many guests, there will definitely be problems and it will take a long time to wait.

Very small room but comes with an attached bathroom which is the same size as an airplane bathroom :p No hot water until we asked for it and then they came to fix it.. But location is really good.. make sure to visit the gadong night market!

Some people might find the location a bit inconvenient, but I didn't mind it at all since it’s only a 10-minute DART ride to downtown. There are plenty of affordable and nice restaurants and shops nearby. If you’re just looking for a place to rest and sleep after exploring the city, this hotel is a great option. The room looks a bit dated, but it was clean. As someone with allergies, I was initially worried about dust or mold, but I had no issues during my stay. Overall, I’m satisfied with my stay. One thing to note for those who aren't comfortable around dogs: there are often stray dogs around the hotel entrance.

It was the first time I came to Brunei in my life. I went to the water village, the mosque, and the royal palace. It felt too ordinary, especially the royal palace. The living place is too loose, more than 20 square meters, four bunk beds, covered with cloth, don't ask me how to know the area, just check the tiles. Needless to say, washing clothes and bathing, all kinds of liquids and powders can be used casually, and must be washed clean; the clothes of the waiters are also washed here, and the toilet is also used, which makes people feel at ease. There is also a printer, it is very convenient to get a visa, the price is 50 cents, one piece, which is reasonable; take off your shoes when you enter the house, put them on the shoe rack, just like at home; drink coffee and sugar as you like, I don’t drink coffee, there is no shortage of sugar Drink the lemons you bought yourself, make your own lemon juice, so you don't have to buy them! The waiter can't speak Chinese, and I can't speak English. It takes a lot of effort to speak, and she patiently helped me find a private car to Miri, 40 Brunei currency, which solved my biggest problem. Brunei's public transportation is too inconvenient, everyone should be prepared, this is not a paradise for backpackers. Good place is much older! The location is very good in the city center, it is very convenient to nearby attractions, the environment is OK, there are office and charging places in the public area, air conditioning, and the price is relatively cheap.
