2-Star Hotels in Hainan, China

Arriving in Haikou from Wuhan at 1:30 AM, I found this B&B online which was near the airport and offered free shuttle service – it was an excellent choice. After landing, I called the front desk, added them on WeChat, and followed the video instructions to quickly find the parking lot and board the shuttle back to the hotel! The next morning, I slept in, then took the shuttle to Meilan Airport to catch the Airport Express to Qilou Old Street!

I chose this hotel near the airport, expecting a lower-priced option to have a poorer environment, so I had set my expectations accordingly. To my surprise, the room was incredibly clean! The white bedding was free of damage or yellowing, and the material was soft. The floor was so clean it shined. The front desk service was excellent; initially, the hot water for the shower took a long time to come out. The front desk staff immediately came up to help me fix it, explaining that the hot water just needed a few minutes to buffer. They also offer a shuttle service directly to the airport, which is very convenient.

A good hotel about an hour's walk from the train station. Equidistant from the station, the Old Town and the Hainan Museum. The sign is in Chinese, so remember the photo of the hall in the description - that's how I guessed that I had come to the right place. Look for the house with the big staircase. They don't speak English, but they accept foreigners. Judging by the gestures of the receptionist, I was one of the first. There is a kettle in the room, the toilet is a hole in the floor. The window did not close tightly. Overall, I was satisfied - I was looking for an inexpensive option not far from the station, and I found it.

I visited Haikou with friends during the National Day holiday and met the hospitable and lovely landlady on the very first day. She treated us to drinks and delicious food. We all chatted and had a great time :D The landlady is beautiful and kind, and her sister is also very pretty and cheerful. Both are very talkative and knowledgeable. It was a fantastic stay! The rooms have private bathrooms, and the dorm beds have curtains for privacy. Everyone was warm and interesting, and I met some lovely fellow travelers. The location is also excellent. You can walk to Haida Night Market, and there are many restaurants offering delicious food and a wide variety of goods. Taxis are easy to catch, and if you walk a bit further from the entrance, there's a bus stop, making transportation very convenient. I highly recommend everyone to visit! The best Banana (referring to the hostel name)! It's a pity I didn't take many photos. So, I'll just show the character '好' (good) that I left behind while playing games with a cute little girl I met at Banana, and the delicious meal made by an amazing young lady from Chongqing, haha. Words can't fully express how wonderful Banana is; everyone should come and experience it for themselves!

This hotel is the best for this price. No problem with free transfer vide versa, you just need to contact by WeChat. The area nearby is super convenient, because you can find many things only by feet - grocery, pharmacy, and eateries for sure. We felling in love with Hainan style chicken, which you can find on the main road behind the corner (just about 2-3 mins walk from the hotel). Just look on the eateries windows and you will see it.

I came to see the Long March 5 launch, but accommodation in Longlou Town was too expensive, so I opted to stay in the city and take the bus to Longlou Town the next morning. This hotel is close to the high-speed rail station and Wennan Old Street, and just a few minutes' walk from the You 1 bus stop. The launch was in the afternoon of the 13th, and the You 1 bus was already full at the high-speed rail station the morning of the launch, with no stops along the way. The advantage of staying here is that it's just one stop from the high-speed rail station. I took one stop back to the bus stop at the station entrance and then took the You 1 bus. I felt this hotel was absolutely fantastic for this trip!

The surrounding environment feels like it is at the junction of urban and rural areas (the location is not good for travel, there is nothing to do or see nearby, but this price cannot be considered a disadvantage). I feel like you have to be safe when going out at night here, as there are few people around. The hotel offers free parking (both in front and behind the hotel building), and you can also order takeout via the APP and have it delivered directly to your room. The room is relatively clean, has air conditioning, WiFi (the internet speed is OK), two free small bottles of water every day (one bottle of 355 ml), and the bathroom toilet has a disposable seat cover. Areas that can be improved: ① There is no live broadcast on TV, and most of the programs in IPTV require additional charges. ②The water pressure in the shower is too low, there is no energy at all, and even if the water temperature is turned to the hottest, it is not very hot, making washing unpleasant. Summary: The price of more than 100 yuan a night and the corresponding services are still acceptable.

The place is very good, staying with friends, the room is very wide, the only bad thing is the hair dryer, the plug is round head, the jack in the room can not be used, the hair can not be blown, but the temperature here is high, go out and do it yourself.

Considering it's a small hotel converted from a self-built building in an urban village, it was excellent overall and well worth the price. It's perfect for those who need to catch an early flight.

The location of the hotel is close to the internet celebrity Wangxi Boss Tea, Wenchang Confucius Temple and the park. The decoration is very nice, which is my favorite style. The nearby canteen is convenient for traveling, and the pillows are very comfortable. I feel that my sleep quality is better when I stay here, and the front desk service is very friendly. , the room attendants were very prompt when they came to the room to deal with the problem, and the hygiene was very clean. The environment was good, the room supplies were complete, the towels and quilts were also very clean, and it was very safe to stay.
