Stayed at Pai Hotel near Sofia Church and Central Street and it was a solid choice. Location is excellent for sightseeing, and getting around by Didi is easy. Staff were patient and helpful during check-in, even using a translator app. Room was simple but clean with daily housekeeping. Lobby has free hot water, a microwave, and luggage storage. Heating was good during winter. Just note that rooms facing the train can be noisy.

We recently stayed at this hotel in Harbin and had a generally positive experience. The location is excellent—just a short 10-minute walk to the beautiful Saint Sophia Church Cathedral, which made exploring the city very convenient. It was especially convenient for us as we took an early morning bus to Volga Manor. Even in -20°C near Saint Sophia, getting to our bus stop was easy thanks to the hotel's location. We would like to specially mention the front desk staff on 3rd January. Although she didn’t speak English, she was extremely helpful and tried her best to assist us with navigation, which we really appreciated. The housekeeping team cleaned our room every day. They didn’t make the bed, leaving it as we had left it, which may have been the hotel’s policy, but everything else was kept clean and tidy. Overall, the hotel was comfortable, conveniently located, and staffed with helpful people—definitely a good choice for visiting Harbin.

I stayed in Harbin for three days, trying out hotels priced between 300-400 RMB, but this hundred-something RMB room was the only one that truly impressed me. The room was incredibly spacious with two super-large double beds. I was so satisfied! Even the more expensive rooms I stayed in didn't compare to this one. I actually regret not staying here for a few more days.

Amenities: Don't expect extra facilities like a gym or pool. It's a place to sleep and clean up, not a resort. Local Focus: The inn is clearly geared toward domestic travelers, so room decor is simple and functional. Overall: This inn is an excellent, economical choice if you prioritize a clean room and good value. We were comfortable and would use it again for a budget trip

The best decision I made on this trip to Northeast China was choosing Shengshi Jiayuan Homestay – it truly elevated my travel experience! The moment I stepped inside, the wonderfully warm *kang* (traditional heated bed) immediately won me over. With temperatures outside dropping to minus 20 degrees Celsius, the *kang* kept me toasty from my toes to the back of my head. Sleeping on it at night was incredibly comfortable and peaceful, a hundred times better than an electric blanket – truly a 'rejuvenation magic weapon.' The floral bedding, the strings of corn hanging in the room, and the delicious Northeast farmhouse cuisine all contributed to an immersive, authentic Northeastern atmosphere. The vibe at the guesthouse was fantastic, filled with laughter from beginning to end. The biggest surprise was that a local auntie accompanied us throughout our snow activities at Wusong Ridge. We tried snowmobiling and tubing, and not only did she patiently teach us how to play, but she also helped us take amazing, atmospheric photos – she was more attentive than a friend! Her personality was cheerful and warm; she chatted with us about daily life and shared local stories, which was incredibly engaging. Any loneliness I felt from traveling solo completely vanished – she truly delivered on emotional value! During my stay here, the warm *kang* kept me cozy, and the auntie's warmth touched my heart. The authentic Northeastern flavors and the cheerful atmosphere made it hard to leave. Whether you want to experience Northeastern folk customs or have a blast in the snow, choosing this place is absolutely the right decision. I've already recommended it to all my friends planning a trip to the Northeast!

We chose this hotel for our trip to Harbin. We had a lot of luggage when we arrived, and the front desk staff were incredibly helpful, assisting us with our bags. You need to use your room key to access the upper floors, which is a bit inconvenient, but it ensures that no unauthorized people can come up, making it very safe. We booked a king room; the size was adequate. What truly stood out was how clean the linens were; you could tell they were changed for every guest and had even been ironed. For the price, I felt it offered excellent value for money. The front desk staff were also very patient and helpful with any questions we had. They provide both regular and disposable slippers, so you can choose whichever you prefer. The room was very warm, not cold at all, and there's air conditioning with no extra charge. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

The hotel is less than 500 meters from the exit of Harbin West Railway Station and about 400 meters from Metro Line 3, making it very convenient for sightseeing and providing easy access to various attractions in Harbin. The surrounding area has a full range of restaurants and several small supermarkets to meet guests' general needs. Wanda Plaza is about 1500 meters away. The hotel's facilities are complete, with separate wet and dry areas in the bathrooms. The toilet seat covers are changed daily, ensuring excellent hygiene. Multiple power outlets are provided in many locations in the rooms. The only drawback is the lack of Wi-Fi; the service could be improved.
