What a surprise, I booked it for one day at first, fearing it would be uncomfortable. I didn't expect the boss and the front desk service to be so good. So I booked another day. The air conditioner in the middle room was broken, so the boss took the initiative to change the room. The cleaning lady was as warm and welcoming as a family member. She took such good care of our family that we felt embarrassed. The hotel is not far from anywhere and has its own parking lot. I had a great time staying in Shenyang this time. Thank you to all the hotel staff and thank you for your service.

At first, it was a bit challenging for us to locate the hotel, as we don’t speak Chinese and the reception is located on the 15th floor. However, with some assistance, we were able to find it, and from that moment on, the experience was truly wonderful. We arrived quite early, around 6:00 AM, even though check-in was scheduled for 2:00 PM. Despite this, the hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. To our pleasant surprise, they even upgraded our room, which made our stay feel extra special. The room itself was exceptionally comfortable and beautifully designed, offering stunning views that made the experience even more memorable. Every detail contributed to a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

The room was fantastic, very clean, and came with all the necessary toiletries, plus a fridge and washing machine. The location is absolutely perfect; from the window, you get a panoramic view of Venice Water Town. Step out, and to the right is the Water Town, while to the left is the Donggang Original Point Square night market. It’s also just a few minutes' walk to Hai Zhi Yun Square to see the fountains. The owner is really down-to-earth and incredibly responsive to any requests.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with an abundance of takeout options nearby, making it super easy to explore all sorts of cuisines. It's incredibly convenient. The room itself is clean and tidy, well-equipped with amenities like a washing machine and kitchen. The decor is cozy and comfortable, and the bedding is so soft I slept like a baby. The bathroom has a great wet/dry separation, and the hot water supply is consistently stable. Outside the window, there's a stunning sea view with an expansive vista that just lifts your spirits. The service is attentive and thoughtful, making for a truly excellent stay. I've been here three or four times already, and I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

Extremely satisfied with this stay! The room was very spacious, a full 60 square meters, with a living room. It was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very soft. Best of all, it was a sea-view room. The price was fantastic – definitely cheaper during the off-season and great value for money. The owner was also very kind; you meet a lot of good people from the Northeast region. The location is convenient, and the environment is elegant. The front desk service was warm and professional, the room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was comfortable, leading to excellent sleep quality. Attention to detail was evident everywhere, making it truly value for money. I will definitely be back!

From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was struck by its modern interior. The lobby was well - designed, with sleek lines and contemporary decor elements. It was a refreshing change from the often - stuffy and traditional hotel lobbies. The use of light colors and minimalistic furniture created an open and airy feel, setting a positive tone for my entire stay. My room was a haven of cleanliness. Every surface, from the floors to the tabletops, was immaculately clean. The bedding was soft and fresh, and the pillows provided just the right amount of support. The bathroom was equally spotless, with modern fixtures and a well - maintained shower area. It was evident that the hotel staff took great pride in keeping the premises clean. However, the real standout feature of this hotel is its airport drop - off service. I had an early - morning flight, and I was dreading the hassle of finding transportation at such an ungodly hour. But thanks to Yunshangju's reliable drop - off service, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The service was prompt, and the driver was friendly and professional. They made sure I reached the airport in plenty of time for my flight, allowing me to start my journey with peace of mind. In conclusion, if you're looking for a clean, modern, and conveniently located hotel near Shenyang Taoxian Airport, Yunshangju Hotel (Shenyang Taoxian Airport Branch) is an excellent choice. Despite its small size, it offers all the essential amenities and a service that goes above and beyond to meet the needs of travelers. This hotel's location is genuinely brilliant, right in the city centre next to the Zhongshan subway and plaza, and for this price point, you really can't ask for better. The staff were friendly and helpful despite the language barrier (Google Translate sorted us out fine), and the cleaning team were lovely too. The room was decent and properly clean, I checked for dust and there wasn't any. However, the hotel is quite old, and there was some mould on the ceiling and in the bathroom and shower curtain. It didn't bother me personally, but worth noting, and a bit of spray would be great. That said, Dalian was incredibly humid when I visited in late August, so I suspect this is partly a climate issue. Even my own towels wouldn't dry properly. The place was quite busy, mainly Chinese customers, but they were quiet and discreet. Practical bits: they provide two bottles of water daily and disposable paper towels (which actually came in handy given the humidity). The room also had a washing machine (bring your own detergent) and you can hang clothes outside on the 9th floor veranda. There's a bus stop right outside with direct services to Xian Lu (shopping and basement food market) and the Transport University area night market, the subway goes straight to the airport, and you're walking distance from the main tourist spots like Russian Street, the old tram etc. Plenty of restaurants nearby too. And two convenience stores on ground floor. This place accepts foreign tourists and check-in was quick and easy. Internet was fast but slower in the evenings. Honestly, some of the complaints I've read here seem a bit harsh considering what you're paying. You get what you pay for, and at this price point in this location, I think it's fair value. I'd stay here again, especially if travelling on a budget. Thank you, we had a lovely time in Dalian!

As a German backpacker traveling through China on a budget, I’ve stayed in many hostels and budget hotels — and Fuyuan Inn in Dandong was honestly one of the best value stays I’ve had on my entire trip. The location is absolutely perfect. Being directly next to the river was one of the best parts of staying here. You can easily walk along the riverside, enjoy the views, and it’s especially beautiful at night. It also makes exploring Dandong very convenient. From the moment I arrived, I felt incredibly welcomed. The owners were unbelievably kind, warm, and helpful. Even as a foreign traveler, they made everything very easy for me. What completely surprised me was that the owner even gave me a free tour around the area, which was such a generous gesture and made my experience in Dandong much more memorable and personal. Another thing I really appreciated was that they actually let me choose between a smoking room and a non-smoking room — a small detail, but it shows they care about guest comfort. The room itself was extremely clean and far better equipped than I expected for this price range. It came with a TV, toothbrushes, soap, good shampoo, and everything else you might need for a comfortable stay. Everything felt very clean, organized, and well maintained. And honestly, for the price, I cannot complain about a single thing. It’s amazing value for money. The biggest highlight though was definitely the owners. They are some of the friendliest people I’ve met during my travels — genuinely caring, welcoming, and incredibly hospitable. If you’re coming to Dandong and want an affordable place in a perfect riverside location with spotless rooms and amazing hosts, book Fuyuan Inn. I would 100% stay here again.

The location is excellent, right in the city center, only about 200m from the subway station, making public transport very convenient. We drove, and while there are many free street parking spaces, they are incredibly difficult to find. Alternatively, there's an underground parking lot in the mall downstairs, which costs 5 yuan per hour with no daily maximum charge. The hotel was very clean, and the front desk was quick to respond to any requests. However, the bathroom being located upstairs was a bit inconvenient for quick tasks like washing hands or fruit after coming back from outside. Additionally, the bathroom had a noticeable and unpleasant sewage smell.
