The room was great, exceptionally clean and hygienic. The front desk lady was very nice, providing excellent and enthusiastic service. The space was large and very comfortable to sleep in. Plus, it had a window for ventilation, which is great for air quality, as many hotels in Macau don't have windows. Late check-out was also a plus. There's a restaurant downstairs and even a massage place. It was absolutely fantastic! 👍👍👍

I had a great one-night stay at Grande Hotel Macau. Overall, the hotel was really convenient, clean and spacious, especially considering that we were a group of five. The location was probably one of my favourite things about the hotel. Getting there from the Outer Harbour Ferry Terminal was quite convenient by bus, and the bus fare was only around HK$6 per person. Just remember to bring some cash, as we found that Alipay wasn’t really usable for us in Macau. Once you’re at the hotel, a lot of the main attractions are within walking distance. We could walk to Grand Lisboa, the Ruins of St. Paul’s and the nearby historic churches. Most places were around a 15–20 minute walk at most, which was really convenient. The room was also surprisingly spacious and very clean. For five people, we had plenty of space, and the room had a really nice view as well. The amenities were good and everything felt well maintained. One small thing to note is that the toilet door isn’t completely private. There are some gaps and the door is somewhat translucent. The shower itself is positioned on the other side, so you can’t actually see someone showering, but if you’re staying with friends or people you’re not very close with, you might prefer a more private bathroom setup. The bed was quite hard and had disposable sheets over it, which I initially wasn’t sure about. Surprisingly, though, I actually slept really well and it ended up being one of the best nights of sleep I had during my trip! As for the service, I didn’t have much interaction with the receptionist, but during check-in I felt that the staff member serving us seemed a little uninterested and wasn’t particularly welcoming. It wasn’t a major issue since everything else went smoothly, but it’s something that could be improved. Overall, though, I really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and spacious, the location was excellent, and the hotel was very convenient for exploring Macau. For a one-night stay with friends, I would definitely consider staying here again.

The hotel itself is great, very close to the bus stop. Just a few hundred meters behind the hotel, you'll find Love Lane and the Ruins of St. Paul's, surrounded by many delicious food options. However, I have urticaria. I hadn't had an outbreak in almost a year and a half, but it seems like the cleaning agent used on the hotel bathroom floor contains allergens. It was truly awful; the urticaria started itching right after I showered. 😓

Convenient Stay in the Heart of the City We stayed one night at Towns Well Motel and had a pleasant experience. The motel is in a strategic location, surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants, and local eateries, making it very convenient for travelers. Within a 10-minute walk, you can easily enjoy shopping at popular stores such as SaSa, Nike, Adidas, and Puma, as well as explore the nearby food and beverage options. The room was spacious enough for a comfortable stay, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone looking for an affordable and conveniently located accommodation for a short stay.

¥6,600 per night! A super satisfying and stylish hotel near Senado Square in Macau, perfect for women travelers. I stayed for 3 nights on my solo trip to Macau. Honestly, this is the best value-for-money hotel that I almost don't want to tell anyone about! Even though it's a two-star hotel, the service from the reception and cleaning staff was on par with a four-star. Both the location and the room quality were far better than I expected. 📍 Access & Location The hotel is located in the Macau Peninsula area, which is very convenient for sightseeing. It's in the direction of Senado Square and Grand Lisboa. This time, I traveled from Hong Kong using a free campaign bus, crossed the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, and entered Macau from the Macau immigration office (Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge Macau Port). From there, taking bus 101 is a smooth ride. I got off at the ”Silo do Porto Internacional” bus stop, and it was about a 2-minute walk to the hotel. It was my first time using the bus, but it was very easy to understand. Access to Cotai area (Venetian, Londoner, Parisian, etc.) is also possible by bus in about 25 minutes. Even I, who am terrible with directions, managed to navigate the bus system perfectly this time! It's convenient for going anywhere, and there are restaurants and souvenir shops nearby, allowing you to fully experience the local atmosphere. ✨ Hotel Atmosphere & Service The male receptionists, both day and night, were very kind and incredibly friendly. When I asked if I could take photos of the lobby, they even hid so as not to be in the shot, and their explanations were very thorough. The lobby isn't large, but it has a water dispenser, chairs, and even sells souvenir snacks. It's clean and has a very cute atmosphere. 🫢 Cautionary Notes‼️ A deposit of approximately ¥10,000 JPY is required. I paid by credit card at check-in and was told it would be refunded at check-out, but it hasn't been returned even after more than a week. However, I also paid a deposit in Hong Kong afterward, which also hasn't been refunded yet, so it might just take a bit longer. 🛏 Room Details I had a double room. It might be a bit cramped for two people, but it's more than spacious enough for a solo traveler! Although there's no bathtub, the shower stall is large, and there's a partition separating it from the toilet, so it's not inconvenient. The cups and decorations have a very cute Asian flair, and amenities like toothbrushes, razors, and combs are well-stocked. 🧐 Points of Concern: ① The hotel's promotional photos showed L'Occitane shampoo, but in reality, it was a different brand. ② Only the first bottle of water is complimentary; after that, you're expected to refill from the water dispenser at the front desk. There are also shops and pharmacies nearby where you can buy inexpensive water. To be honest, the water from the dispenser didn't quite suit my Japanese palate and tasted a bit like tap water. ④ There was a window, but it couldn't be opened, and outside the window was the balcony of a private residence. ⑤ The air conditioning is very effective, which is a great point for those who get hot easily. 💻 As for Wi-Fi, I connected two mobile phones (iPhone and Android) and had no problems at all watching Instagram or YouTube! It was fast and stress-free ✨ ChatGPT showed that it's not available in Macau and Hong Kong, but Gemini works. ⭐️Overall Review⭐️ For 3 days, I only requested trash disposal and towel changes, not a full room cleaning. The cleaning staff were always friendly and would always ask with a smile, ”Are your amenities and tea bags topped up?” There were guests in the adjacent rooms, but I had no concerns about noise and could spend the nights quietly and comfortably. The location is super convenient! Right outside, you'll find the Ruins of St. Paul's, and walking a bit further brings you towards Grand Lisboa and Wynn. There are tons of pharmacies, supermarkets, and restaurants on the street. Plus, there are bus stops that can take you to both the old and new parts of the city.

Location is great but the bare minimum you could expect from an hotel room was not there. The bed was as hard as a wooden plank and the bedsheets and pillows were one use paper sheets which was very unpleasant and make you sweat. The room was also very humid, all our clothes were wet. For that price they could at least provide real bedding which seems to be the bare minimum for an hotel !

My stay here was fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, making it super convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was great. What impressed me most was the front desk staff – they were warm and attentive, and check-in and check-out were both very efficient. It really made me feel welcome. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit!

Getting there was a bit confusing at first, mainly because Macau's streets are quite winding. Finding it from the city center, near the Grand Lisboa, was a bit of a hassle. However, getting to the Border Gate (Gongbei Port) by bus is incredibly convenient. You might not call it a bustling area, but there's a Bank of China branch just a hundred meters away. I love the nearby Lai Lai Supermarket where I can buy coffee, chocolate, and soak in the local atmosphere – I really like that. The interior decor has a bit of a church-like feel, I wonder if I'm right about that. It's also about a kilometer's walk from the Ruins of St. Paul's.

The hotel's bedding and toiletries were all disposable, which felt very hygienic, and the disposable bath towels were surprisingly thick – you can tell they put thought into their procurement. The room floors were sparkling clean. The front desk staff were also very warm and patient in their communication. For this price, the hotel offers incredible value for money. I highly recommend everyone stay here; it's close to the Ruins of St. Paul's and other attractions. Oh, and to the right when you exit the hotel, there's a breakfast spot run by an old lady. You have to walk a bit, but her dim sum is really authentic. I saw many elderly gentlemen eating there. The portions are generous, and the prices are very affordable. This morning, two of us ate 4 dishes for only 68 RMB.
