Staying at the Boway Hotel was an absolutely fantastic experience! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk to the bus stop, making it super convenient for getting around and shopping. The room was clean and tidy, with soft and comfortable bedding. The bathroom had a great wet/dry separation and no unpleasant odors. The facilities were well-maintained, and both the air conditioning and WiFi worked perfectly. The staff were warm and attentive, handling check-in and check-out efficiently, and even proactively offered local sightseeing tips. The breakfast offered a wide variety of fresh ingredients. It's incredibly good value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

The compact single rooms at this hotel are good for solo travelers. Comfortable and furnished with basic facilities. The location is convenient as it is close to many shops and restaurants in the city. The reception is helpful in attending to guests.

Xining is a fantastic, vibrant city, and my biggest regret is not staying longer; it deserves way more time than just a quick transit stop thanks to its incredible food scene, night markets, and laid-back vibe. During my visit, I stayed at LETE Hostel, which serves as a solid, character-rich base for exploring the region. The top-floor communal space has real history and soul, beautifully flooded with sunlight, packed with green plants, a massive library, and even three cute resident birds. The ladies at the front desk are incredibly kind-hearted and welcoming, always doing their best to help out. Location-wise, it’s perfect - super convenient for the night markets, local food stalls, and bus stops, plus they offer safe bike storage for cyclists. For the price of a private room, the value and hospitality here are unbeatable, and I would absolutely stay again - and next time, I’ll be giving Xining the full week it deserves.

The hotel we checked into this time was quite unexpected. As soon as we walked to the door with our suitcases, a handsome staff member came to pick us up. I was stunned. It turned out that he was watching us take our suitcases to help us carry our luggage! 😄😄😄 Checking in at the front desk was very fast. It took only a minute or two to complete the check-in. The service attitude was also very good. The little brother kept smiling and helped us carry our luggage throughout the process. I was very touched. The room is also good. Disposable towels, toilet mats and mineral water are provided as gifts. For more than 100 yuan, so many cleaning supplies are given away. What a conscientious business! Good: - The hotel was a 10 minute walk away from Dongguan mosque and the Xiananguan market - Looks fairly new with decent facilities Bad: - I saw a tiny cockroach in my room 5 minutes after checking in. - There was also a strong smell of cigarette smoke throughout my first day in the hotel. The staff that came to investigate claimed it was the cleaning agents that they use 🤷. He did try to help by spraying some cleaning agent around the room though. - There is some ventilation vent (which I suspect transmits the cigarette smoke smell between rooms) which also transmits noise from other rooms. I could hear other guests talking loudly at each other in their own rooms past 12am - there is only 1 washer and 1 dryer. I attempted to use them on three separate occasions and only succeeded in my third time. After washing my clothes, the dryer then took 3 hours to fully dry my clothes. Other guests who wanted to use the dryer would have probably been frustrated.

Everything about this place was just right. I really felt the artistic vibe, and I imagine the owner must be a young person with great taste and a big heart, catering to all ages and fulfilling every artistic youth's dream. It's clean, tidy, and has all the services and facilities you could ask for. The cleaning lady was very kind, and the front desk staff was very polite. There were also many enthusiastic travelers. As a Virgo traveler, I am very satisfied! This is a genuine five-star review, not one forced by the owner. I wish all fellow travelers embarking on journeys near and far safe travels; this place truly feels like a harbor for us wanderers. We stayed for several days, and upon our first check-in, there were a lot of cigarette butts under the sink. They were still there on the second, third, and fourth days, completely untouched by housekeeping. Also, the two small nightstands and the phone were covered in dust, clearly never wiped. The bed sheets and duvet cover weren't changed from the first day until the third. However, the location is very convenient, with a supermarket and fruit store right outside, and bus stops nearby. But seriously, the cleanliness needs a major improvement, especially since we were traveling with children and seniors who need a good, clean environment.

Pros: For its price point, the hygiene, soundproofing, and location are top-notch. It's right next to the train station, and even in a room at the end of the hall, you can't hear any outside noise. Cons: On the night we checked in, I specifically asked the front desk about breakfast times. They only told me 7:00-10:00 but failed to mention that since the hotel shares an entrance and elevators with the Ji Hotel, the restaurant floor can only be accessed with a Ji Hotel key card. Guests staying at Hanting Express are limited to dining at the single table in the lobby, which is less than 20 square meters. This feels like a deliberate concealment. We paid extra for double breakfast portions for both our rooms, but the food was incredibly sparse: only 1 boiled egg, 1 pre-packaged burger/chicken wrap (choose one), and 1 cup of soy milk per person. If you wanted more, you had to pay extra. The experience gap between different brands within the same hotel group is huge. Suggestions: 1. Absolutely do not pay extra for breakfast; it's very poor value for money. You're better off grabbing something from a street vendor. 2. I hope the hotel front desk will proactively explain the actual breakfast dining situation to guests who have purchased breakfast during check-in, to reduce negative reviews. Multiple reviews have already stated – had they known the breakfast was like this, they would never have paid extra for it.
