2-Star Hotels in Sichuan, China

Sometimes I need a quick stopover in the city, usually returning from a trip or the night before an early departure. I always think a hostel will do the trick – they're cheap, and a bed is all I really need. I've tried this three times now, and this particular hostel had the best environment; it was very quiet. It's just a shame I was so worried about an early morning meeting that I didn't sleep very soundly. I had a brief chat with the owner, and you could easily tell she puts a lot of care into running the place. She requires everyone to change into slippers upon entering to keep the living areas clean. Smoking is only allowed in the hallway and on the rooftop. Housekeeping is done daily, and there was an electric mosquito repellent plugged in in the room. I appreciate her efforts and wish the place long-lasting success.

The service was great, even though we checked in really late (way past midnight), the staff still helped us with checking in for our stay. The downside is that the air-conditioning doesn't seem to be working that well. There were a lot of eateries nearby selling supper late into the night.

Waking up to a sea of clouds outside my window and falling asleep counting stars – what a dream! The room was even cozier than the pictures, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The owner was incredibly kind, treating us like family, and even the mountain breeze felt welcoming. This healing retreat was hard to leave, and I'll definitely be back!

The location, though a bit hard to find the reception on the first day ( its on the 18*th floor) is great for checking out Chengdu. There are lots of places to eat near by. Line 1 is only a short walk away or there are serveral buses near by you can catch. If your into walking.... Its only a couple of kms to lots of places. I liked the area as its not as full on as staying in Chunix Rd area. The apartment itself was big and very comfy with a great bed and view. My shower did take forever to drain away and the washing machine door, yes you have your own washing machine in the room, was broken so it took a bit to figure out how to get it open but other than that it was good for the price. I chose this hostel for my trip to Chengdu, and my stay far exceeded my expectations. The location is truly unbeatable. It's very close to the metro station, within walking distance, making it super convenient to get to Wenshu Monastery and all the major city attractions. Getting around was a breeze, and it's great value for money. I had a very comfortable stay. The room was clean and tidy, and the overall environment was quiet and peaceful, perfect for a good rest after a long day of exploring. The amenities were also very thoughtful, with a laundry room and a gym, which was incredibly practical for washing clothes and getting some exercise during my trip. The biggest surprise was the public area on the ground floor. By day, it's a quiet cafe, and by night, it transforms into a bar with a fantastic atmosphere. There are even live singers performing in the evenings – the 'cafe by day, bar by night' concept was right up my alley. Sitting down to listen to music and have a drink melted away a lot of my travel fatigue. I also met many travelers from different places here, including quite a few international guests. Everyone chatted about their travel experiences, and the atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. Overall, my experience was fantastic. It's suitable for both solo travelers and those with friends. I honestly recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

Amazing service and rooms. Very quiet in general. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Beds are soft and fresh, and rooms are spacious and clean. Did not opt to have breakfast at the hotel, but there are several shops nearby, including a 24h convenience store. It is extremely well located with a metro station nearby. There are also several restaurants at the metro station and in the surrounding streets, all worth trying!

The hotel was good , clean. Staffs were friendly and good. 24 hrs airport pick up and drop off service. Picked me from airport at 2.30 am in the morning. It was much more than my expectation for the price. The hotel is in a rural area away from the hustles of the city. I really enjoyed my stay.

The room was okay. Besides the bedding and towels, it wasn't very clean. Some things in the room were broken, but the bed was comfortable. I appreciated the washing machine in the room (fundamental if you visit Chengdu in summer!). The location is good, right in front of Eastern Suburb Memory, where you can have a nice evening stroll, and near the mall and the subway station. Through subway you can reach the most important attraction in about 40 minutes. Overall, especially compared to the price, it's not bad.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hard 5/5! As a girl travelling solo for the first time, I felt very safe staying and had a lot of fun. Even though it’s a hostel, the environment was comfortable and welcoming. One thing I really appreciated was the international power outlets, which was a huge plus for me. The hostel also offers transportation services to certain attractions and activities, making it very convenient for travellers. The location is excellent — being right next to Chunxi Road meant I could easily explore the city, try local food, and enjoy the area on foot. A special shoutout to the front desk staff, who were incredibly friendly and always happy to recommend places to visit. Their English was excellent as well, which made communication very easy. I would highly recommend this hostel to international travellers. If I visit Chengdu again, I would definitely choose to stay here again! ❤️✨

The transportation here is super convenient! Wherever you want to go, you can get a taxi in seconds. If you don't want to take a taxi, there are many subway lines nearby, so you never have to worry about not being able to explore Chengdu without a car. We've already stayed for three days in a row, and if my vacation wasn't over, I'd definitely stay a few more days.
