If one wants to visit the El Arenal Area of Palma de Mallorca, the Hotel has the ideal location. It is easy to reach by Bus A51 (only two stops from the Airport), which already departs at 5 a.m. in the morning on the way back and therefore making it possible to reach flights departing at 6:30 a.m. without the need of an otherwise expensive Taxi.
10 minutes stroll to the beach.
Receptionist on duty was from Austria, therefore she spoke, besides Spanish and English of course, fluent German - which is quite common in Palma.
The room was big and clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful A/C, but the walls are really thin. One can hear everything that is going on in other rooms as well as outside.
With a stay at Hotel Octopus in Santa Margalida, you'll be within a 15-minute drive of Playa de Muro and Alcúdia Port. This hotel is 5.2 mi (8.4 km) from Alcúdia Beach and 14 mi (22.5 km) from Pollensa Port.
Satisfy your appetite at the hotel's coffee shop/cafe. Cooked-to-order breakfasts are available daily from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM for a fee.
Featured amenities include express check-in and express check-out.
Make yourself at home in one of the 36 guestrooms. Complimentary wireless internet access is available to keep you connected. Bathrooms with bathtubs or showers are provided. Conveniences include safes and desks, and housekeeping is provided daily.
The doors to the rooms slam and the lights should be off or dim after a certain time. Beds are stiff and only linens are provided. - terrible sleep quality. 6€ euro for a crappy towel that has a bunch of fuzzies!?! No paper towels or hand dryers in the bathrooms either. The pool and other amenities are nice tho and it was fun to mingle with other travelers
Excellent hotel, conveniently located in the city center. The room is spacious, of course modest for the price, but for Ibiza the option is normal. The linen is a little dirty, but otherwise everything is fine. Close to shops, 3 minutes to the beach. Breakfast is delicious and varied. This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and will probably return again. Advice: pay extra and take a room with a sea view on the 7th floor, the view is amazing. There is even a swimming pool upstairs, but we didn’t visit it.
Excellent hotel, with great staff and a fantastic room.
Close to the main ***** but far enough from the noise.
Nice pool and bar also. Would highly recommend.
great stay! had some initial issues with the booking, but staff was very helpful and we were able to resolve everything smoothly. the rooms were very clean as well and quite spacious for the price. the location was amazing, less than 10 minutes to the beach and right across from a market. couldn’t have asked for a better stay.
I traveled solo so I was given a solo room for 4 nights.
S’Arenal beach is very close to the hotel, it’s a 7-minute walk otherwise Playa de Palma is a 45-minute walk or you have the A2 bus to the airport that takes you there. It’s well served.
As for the hotel, you don’t expect luxury but for the price it’s reasonable. On the other hand the walls… are very thin, you can hear the guests next door unfortunately. That’s the only negative point otherwise we have access to everyone. (check with reception)
The area is specifically for party-goers, quite a few Germans, restaurants where German is spoken. If you like to party, welcome to S’Arenal :)
At the highest point of the city, overlooking the Mediterranean and with privileged views of the port, the Parador de Ibiza offers an exclusive accommodation experience where luxury is expressed through tranquility, history, and beauty. As the 99th Parador in the network, this establishment represents the evolution of a historic brand that continues to grow with unique projects, deeply linked to heritage and the local area. Located in the heart of Dalt Vila, this charming hotel invites you to discover the most authentic Ibiza from a unique setting. Sleeping within centuries-old walls, strolling through courtyards and terraces steeped in history, and enjoying rooms designed for rest and privacy make each stay an unforgettable experience. Here, contemporary comfort blends seamlessly with centuries of Mediterranean architecture and landscape. The proximity to the port of Ibiza and the historic center allows guests to combine the tranquility of the Parador with a wide range of leisure, cultural, shopping, and gastronomic options, all within walking distance. And as evening falls, the island reveals its most vibrant and playful side, reminding us that Ibiza is also about music, celebration, and energy. The Parador thus becomes the perfect balance between exclusivity, relaxation, and enjoyment.
Good location, 3 minutes walk to the promenade, restaurants and supermarket and 20 minutes walk to the bus terminal.
Studio is fully furnished except for a washing machine. Room is small but with enough space to put your luggage. The toilet is rather small and you have to manoeuvre yourself to close the door. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Overall enjoyed my stay here but for the price paid it was not good value for money. Guest would feel more welcomed with complimentary water, beverages and facial tissues when they stepped into the room. Even much smaller hotels welcomed their guests with complimentary water and sweets.

GGuest UserNice hotel approx 5 minutes from a beach & bus stops to Palma City centre & Palma airport. Very nice breakfast included.

DDejan SkaljacThe hotel is a mere 100 m away from the sea and a few minutes' walk from a great number of bars and restaurants. The town itself can be reached by the direct airport bus, which you can't say about everywhere in Mallorca, especially not on the East coast of the island. Our breakfast was in the nearby Playa Blanca Hotel and we had a view of the pool. We had car parking for free in and around the disused mini golf course in the back. It was very reasonably priced rates for mid July high season, including breakfast. The only downside was the check-in process - we did NOT know that we were meant to go to the nearby Playa Blanca hotel to check in, so when you arrive at 2.30am (our flight was nearly 3 hours late) you could be a bit puzzled as to what to do and where to go. You live, you learn.

OOlivia RenataWell located hotel, with a pool, but quite old. It is very common in Ibiza for hotels to be very old-fashioned and to charge rates that in other places would be in higher category hotels. The breakfast could be improved.
GGuest UserLovely little hotel in the heart of San Antonio, was the perfect base for me exploring the island. I expected cheap no frills accommodation but was pleasantly surprised by a lovely hotel, good sized, clean, comfortable room, with fridge, tv, air con, safe & private bathroom. Staff were friendly & helpful. Although no restaurant on site, having vending machines, water, coffee machine (which also dispenses hot water) & and a microwave at reception is a really helpful touch. Would deffo stay again :)
EE. KuipersThe staff was kind, breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. It wasn't very busy. I heard some strange stories from other people but I wasn't bothered by anyone whilst staying. The weather was quite hot and my room didn't have any air conditioning, some nights were difficult for me to sleep.
The pool area was amazing and the water was lovely. Everything is quite close, little restaurants and shops walking distance. There are bus stops around and supermarkets. Something for everyone!
PppwongLocation is near the bus terminal and 3 minutes walk to the promenade where the bars and restaurants are. Room is clean and spacious with clean bedsheets and comfortable bed. Toilets are clean with toiletries and towels are provided. Kitchen is well equipped. It is a small hostel and provides a cosy ambience. Bring proof of payment for your stay with you as their system got mixed up with another quest's payment records. Overall would recommend this hostel for your stay.
WwildVery nice and clean hostel with everything you need, very pleasant Service, I was able to practice my Spanish. at night there was a small incident while I was walking, the guys in the room closed the window, as someone was making noise in the street and the room turned into a sauna, it was very hot, I asked the guy at the Reception to turn it on the air conditioning and immediately got cold in the common room, thank you very much. I have lived in different hostels and I can say that it is a hostel among the best
very hot and dirty hostel and service, so practice my Spanish. I didn't have a very small case, because it was gone, and the number was closed, так как кто-то шумел на улице and и номер превратился в сауну, было очень рко, включить кондиционер and и сразу стало рохладно в общей комнате, спасибо большое . я жил в разных хостелах and и я могу сказать, что это хостел среди лучших
