Extremely satisfied with this booking! The hotel's location right by the sea is fantastic, and opening the window gives you unbeatable ocean views. It's a shame the exterior was undergoing renovation during our stay.
The double room had its own private bathroom, which was amazing value for the price. The only issue was that the hot water in our room wasn't very hot, only around 30 degrees Celsius. As it was a weekend, the facility manager wasn't available, and you know how British efficiency can be! The hotel was quite full, but the front desk staff (a lovely guy and girl) helped us arrange to use the shower in another vacant room.
The kitchen facilities were comprehensive; it would have been perfect if the extractor fan was a bit more powerful. One day, while frying steaks, a front desk lady suddenly rushed into the kitchen, thinking we hadn't turned on the fan!
If you're coming from Gatwick Airport, I highly recommend taking the National Express coach. It stops right opposite the hotel, which is incredibly convenient. If you're traveling by train with heavy luggage, walking to the hotel can be a bit of a hassle. You could also take a bus for a few stops to avoid pushing heavy bags on uneven roads.
Overall, a very satisfying hotel booking. Next time I'm in Brighton, I'll definitely be booking this hotel again.

The location is superior and the transportation is convenient. The hotel has complete facilities, the rooms are clean and tidy, and the stay is very comfortable. The service of the front desk staff is very good, very proactive and enthusiastic. Personally, I think the price/performance ratio is quite high.
On the pricey end of hotels in Brighton, the room very simple and old fashioned.
No real complaints staff are very friendly. Getting the bags to the room is difficulty so I wouldn't recommend to someone with reduced mobility.
But overall great view and nice staff.

The hotel staff are friendly and available 24/7. The hotel has an elevator and convenient shared spaces. The room is clean, but it is quite minimal and basic, so it doesn’t feel very cozy.
GGuest UserThe staff is amazing from a to z, also bed linens and towels are clean like new. The mattress was very comfortable and good quality. The breakfast was very basic English with filtered coffee. But the building is almost falling apart which is a shame. It takes 15-20 minutes in bus A5 or 5 for £3 one way, which is quite handy. The free parking is fairly good and also handy. The cost for a double room was £175 and I believe that was way higher than it should. All I’m saying is that if I would have known, I could get a much nicer hotel for that amount.
The location is perfect right opposite the beach, which makes it ideal for a relaxing stay. The rooms are clean, cosy, and very comfortable, especially for couples. It’s also quite affordable for what you get. Overall, a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place. 10/10.
