2-Star Hotels in Hampshire, United Kingdom

This time, I mainly stayed at the hotel again to drop my son off at university. The location is excellent, right in the city center, and they offer parking. I stayed for three days and two nights, and the parking cost £24 for three days. A friend helped us with our luggage, and if you leave the car park before midnight on the same day, there's no charge, you just need to register at the hotel. There's a large shopping mall, a supermarket, and McDonald's all near the hotel. The triple room I booked this time was a bit cramped, but because of the convenient location, I chose to stay here again.

The quilt, pillows, sheets, etc. in the room are very clean and have the smell of washing powder. Public areas, such as kitchens and toilets, will be cleaned every day, and the whole is very clean. You can cook, there are pots and stoves.

I had a really great experience overall. The cleanliness was absolutely excellent — everything felt fresh, tidy, and well-maintained, which made a big difference in comfort. The location is also perfect, very convenient and easy to access nearby attractions and essentials.The service was good; the staff were friendly and helpful, though there’s a little room for improvement in responsiveness. Amenities were also solid and met most expectations, though a few small additions could make the stay even better. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this place, especially for families looking for a comfortable and well-located stay.

This was a perfect location for us as it was only about 5 minutes from the port. Friendly welcome and efficient service. Room was good and spacious but feel it could do with freshening up. The fan in the bathroom ran on for ages so didn't turn the light on during the night as it was very noisy. Breakfast was good and wholesome but cutlery was a bit grubby and table needed a good clean. Otherwise a good stay.

Will be good if some refurbishment cold be done, especially on ventilation

The staff were very attentive and allowed us to check in early, They gave good advice on surrounding amenities, and were helpful throughout our stay. Although our room and shower room were was small, they were both clean and very well presented. The food in the pub was of a good standard and we were made to feel very welcome.

Friendly, lovely fresh breakfast in the morning made to feel very welcome live music in the bar on a Saturday night great blue blues band you could hear the bang quite clearly in the room but we were so tired. It didn’t matter if I hadn’t had my daughter I would’ve gone down and enjoyed the music.

Nice cosy rooms above a pleasant pub. It accepts dogs but didn't feel it was very dog friendly as no access for dogs to go for a wee, no dog bowls or anything dog related in the room even though the dog was booked in. Friendly staff and the food at the pub was tasty.
