PPranav Patil PA Fantastic, Value-for-Money Stay with Exceptional Hospitality
I recently stayed at Hotel Petra Gate and had an overall wonderful experience. This hotel is an excellent choice for travelers looking for exceptional value and genuine, personal service.
The most outstanding feature of this hotel is without a doubt the owner. He is incredibly polite, soft-spoken, and went far out of his way to ensure my stay was comfortable. He expertly arranged very affordable cab services for all my travel needs and was invaluable in guiding my sightseeing, offering helpful tips and advice that greatly enhanced my trip.
The hotel itself offers great value for money. A lovely perk is the self-serve coffee and tea service available in the kitchen at any time—a perfect way to start the morning or unwind in the evening.
Petra - Wonder of the World is just 1.5km away from this hotel.

SSTANISLAV544An excellent hotel with a convenient location.
The Visitor Center (the entrance to Petra) is a 10-minute walk away. The only problem is that the hotel is located on a hill, so while the descent isn't difficult, the climb up is quite challenging. Taxi drivers charge exorbitant prices for a ride, even though it's literally a two-minute ride.
The hotel itself is beyond reproach. The room is spacious, with hot water and clean linens.
The room also has a kettle, coffee, tea, and water.
While I was walking around Petra, they made my bed and refilled the instant coffee bags.
The staff is very polite and pleasant.
Breakfast is varied, everything is fresh and delicious, and it's a buffet. No one pressures you, so you can eat as much as you want.
I highly recommend this hotel!

GGuest UserThe location of the hotel is very good. It’s just a few mins walk to the entrance of Petra. You may find the stores and restaurants nearby.
The chef is so friendly. He prepared breakfast to us when we came down every morning. The breakfast has little difference every day and the chef was so nice to introduced the food to us.

DDaniele ForteVery friendly staff, as usual in Jordan. Large breakfast, arabian style, buffet. There were troubles with reservation and the hotel tender quickly solved and offer the breakfast all over the night reserved for 6 people. Very professional. Close to restaurant and 15 minute walking from Petra Main Gate

SSharthakThe receptionist was extremely helpful. He helped me to drive out of the hotel (very hilly and small pathway). He also helped us with our requests.
The view from the hotel is incredible. From the balcony you can see the Petra entrance and the lights at night

JJose Angelo Narciso SongcoGreat value for money in an otherwise hsually expensive city. The hostel is just minutes away from the Petra Archaeological Site entrance.
Free juice and water. Extra to use the kitchen to cook. Extra to rent a towel.
Accommodated early checkin
