no gender separation, so make sure you’re fine with it before making a reservation. other than that, they have a lounge, clean toilets and showers, so it’s great.
experience depends on the people you stay with since some guests make loud noises. and there are no staffs to make them quiet for you.
Let's start with the downsides:
The room's aisle was so narrow I couldn't even open my suitcase.
The shower stall was tiny; I'd bump into the walls if I wasn't careful.
The soundproofing was quite poor.
Now for the positives:
It's cheap and close to Haneda Airport.
The front desk staff were incredibly nice; they intentionally spoke slowly, knowing my English wasn't great.
This guesthouse was incredibly cozy and felt just like home. At check-in, they carefully explained everything I needed to know. I stayed in the women's-only dormitory room, which I believe was a 6-person room with three bunk beds. I had the bottom bunk. There were no locks, but there were sturdy curtains for privacy. Even though it was a cold day, the room was warm, and having a light above the bed made for a comfortable stay. Everyone seemed to be considerate and kept quiet. Eating and drinking weren't allowed on the bed, but it wasn't an issue as the ground floor had a cozy cafe (pictured) where you could relax freely. I read a bit in bed and then slept soundly. When I mentioned at check-out that I was visiting Enoshima, they told me about taking a boat, which made my trip much more enjoyable than planned. Luggage storage after check-out was also cheaper than using a locker, and I enjoyed the interaction. I'd love to stay here again if I get the chance. Shared rooms are very affordable and highly recommended for solo travelers.

Although the location wasn't great, it's a capsule hotel with very high quality! It's also an internet cafe, but I thought it was great for this price as it had a bath and all the amenities. It was a place I would definitely want to stay at again.

This is not a true capsule hotel: the beds are only separated with curtains, not doors. This means that you can hear everyone else in the room, and that there is no secure place to leave your things when you go the shower or leave your space for a bit. (The only lockers are all the way on the ground floor, in the lobby, and they are tiny--much too small for a suitcase or even a large backpack.) So this feels much more like a youth hostel than an actual capsule hotel.
If the beds had doors that could be locked, I would give this place an excellent review. On the positive side, it was kept very clean (given the number of people staying there), and it's very close to the train station and to Chinatown.

That was my first experience in that type of hostel. It was actually really nice after I experienced being in another one. It was just a bit difficult to remember my key and pushing unlock-but great for safety. Just maneuvering all my stuff around was a bit of a trick-but it was a very nice organized place.
The hotel had everything it promised: spacious and clean room, fast Wi-Fi, friendly service and a perfect location for exploring the city. Even the little details, like quality amenities and silence at night, were impeccable. It’s rare to find places that are so true to what was advertised, but this one delivered on everything. I definitely recommend it!
Very close to Kodaba train station. There is an hourly parking nearby. General business Japanese hotels. The room is relatively small, and you can have a full breakfast, but there are not many options. It's quite good to stay at the halfway station for just one night.
There was no counter service when I checked in, only instructions in the envelope. I only received an email after I checked out asking me to fill in basic check-in information.
What I am dissatisfied with is that the instructions in the envelope can use a highlighter or blue pen to clearly mark the parts that need to be filled in, and include a pen for filling in the information, so that people who are not familiar with the process and foreign languages can immediately understand that this document must be filled out.
The email that contacted me to fill in the information afterwards did not tell me which platform to use to reply correctly.
This forced me to sacrifice a lot of extra time to study on top of my busy schedule, and I didn't even know if my information had been submitted correctly.
All these inconsiderate and rude services made me waste a lot of time after checking out, and I felt very unhappy about it.
The property is very well designed, with separate sections for different functions, which makes the sleep area very quiet! No need to worry if there are too many people in one shared room!! The location is also great! There are a lot of restaurants and shops around. It’s very clean, and the bed is super big despite being in a capsule dorm. I love this place and will definitely recommend it to everyone!
