Before the project. Parking lot は
The hotel seems to have a clean and color 々 design room
I wanted to go to stay again.
I stayed here for golf the night before.
what a simulation golf store on the second floor
The inside of the store was spacious and clean.
The guests are very satisfied with the discount for 50 minutes and 2100 yen.
and on the hotel's homepage, it's about the management of another company
There is no guide, but I want you to guide me properly.
There should be more reservations!
The remote control of the TV in the room is dusty.
A small worm corpse on the ceiling of the bathroom.
There was hair on the wall.
Is it a little messy?
I'll see you again.
Close to the restaurant and not far from the station. The disadvantage is that the bathroom does not have a butt spray. But compared to the price, it is considered okay.
Cleanliness, facilities and amenities are good, but there are few 々 dissatisfaction with sound and temperature management. Is it a special point that you can't eat and drink in the room? I stopped at the public bath in the neighborhood but I was very satisfied there. It was a goldfish hot water.
Service was excellent! Some staff can speak English. Busy hotel but got enough parking. Location is convenient, there are restaurant nearby. Room is semi-double but we got enough space. Got breakfast however the breakfast time is pretty early from 6am to 8:30am. (Check out time is 10am) We went down at 7:45am, but food was almost gone, but staff no refill anymore, this might need to be improved. Also the room inside and the bathroom are a bit old, carpet is a bit dirty, this might need to be improved too. But overall, its pretty good to stay a few nights.
Went for work, staff wasn’t the nicest but were accommodating enough - the night staff was a little rude, but the morning staff the next day was kind enough. I had time to kill in the lobby, where there were free massage chairs, though they were a little beaten up.
There were food and drink dispensers as well as a hot water heater and microwave for use. There are also public onsen style baths that I did not take advantage of, but they had many selections.
The room I stayed in was nothing special, but was fine for the night I was staying. The location is not great but not terrible, as there is a supermarket nearby open until midnight
My biggest piece of advice would be to rent a car if you are staying here; I took a cab then walked to the station the next day after my business in the area was done
Except for the excellent location (nearest to Tobu-Nikko Station and the buses stops to various locations and places of interest, the hotel is badly in need of upgrades for it's rooms, facilities and amenities.
The room I stayed in is big (compared to most hotel rooms in Japan) but the toilet seat cover keeps falling down while using it.
Plenty of cobwebs at corners , especially along the corridor.
The bathroom taps is like a 'makeshift' upgrade shared by basin and bathtub. See photo.
Good thing is that I can see upgrading and renovation taking place but seems like it has been going on for a very long time already.
First off, do not trust Google Maps for directions. The directions take you up the alley behind the hotel. The hotel opens on the main street (Hwy. 119 is what Maps indicates).
This is an absolutely great little hotel, well located, clean and everything about the hotel I noticed, well looked after. It has a small, functional onsen that I used.
I was in their hostel section, a single bed, capsule style. A little tough for a creaky, bad knees, old person like me but a great stay. They have a small, affordable breakfast buffet (Oriental-style) for purchase that is decent with a variety of different dishes. And they have a machine that dispenses excellent, fresh coffees and other beverages.
It is a 2-star hotel and I will give it a 5 star rating as a 2 star hotel. Very good little hotel.
I was surprised that the bath was big! It's a short walk from Utsunomiya Station, but there is a shuttle bus for both Tobu and JR. It would have been nice if there was a washroom corner on the floor with the cabin.
Checked in after 15:00 and when the auto lock was not working well, 3 PINs were given, and 2 of them could not be unlocked and the remaining 1 was vacant. When you enter the room, there is a refrigerator, microwave oven, TV, and bed inside, and the cleanliness is maintained and the score is high! The bath and toilet are beautiful, but they smell different from the room. I don't smoke, so I'm sensitive to those scents. I immediately used the deodorant spray installed at the entrance.
I told the front desk about the situation at the time of check-out the next day. Because it was a hotel of this type, I couldn't hear the sound next door and it was quiet. Also, there were 4 kinds of frozen lunch boxes for breakfast, and it was delicious. Amenities are also common, and the overall point is 4.5 point, and the fragrance problem is -1 point.
I forgot to take a picture of the room (^^;;

Very Good
Jjlow123Most of the reviews are outdated so I thought I'd give an updated review. For one thing, there is WiFi (I have informed the landlady that the website indicates otherwise).
This place is a traditional-style inn. You'll be sleeping in a futon (some Google-fu should help you know how to use one), use two pairs of slippers (one for moving around the house, one exclusively for the toilet) and will also bathe in a Japanese-style shared bathroom. The front gate and bathroom close at 10pm, which is not an issue as everywhere in Nikko closes early and it's too dark to hike outdoors (in early Autumn).
We loved using the onsen to relax after a day of strolling around and hiking, and the delicious Japanese-style breakfast was lovingly prepared by a friendly old granny. The premises are old but well-maintained. Toilets, bathroom and onsen were great but we were there during off-peak season so we didn't need to share so much. Should we return to Nikko, this place will be our first choice!
LLena DovganIt was the perfect place for me to reset and refresh. The hostel is surrounded by beautiful nature and has a hot spring, just what I needed in a getaway from the big city.
The common space is designed beautifully and has two very comfortable kitchens, big fridges, and everything you might need for a comfortable stay.
The staff was very friendly and helpful, one night the hostel even arranged a hot pot dinner. First I stayed in a standard room but I ended up extending my stay here, this time in the women's only dormitory. Both the private room and the dormitory room were very comfortable and had everything I needed.
Long walks was just what I needed but it looks like there's quite a lot to do around if you drive just a little bit, so I would recommend coming by car or renting one at the train station.
I can't wait for my next visit here.

OOKSANAThe guest house is located near the stations and near the bus stops - very convenient and quick to get to.
The hostess is very friendly and kind. She told us everything and gave us maps and advised where to go and how to get there.
Fantastic breakfast, although the website says - meals are not provided. However, we were fed 3 times and it was just incredible!
There are 7/12 stores nearby and a supermarket nearby.
The hostess gave us large umbrellas in heavy rain and small folding ones if rain was expected only in the evening.
We really liked everything and would like to come back again! Thank you very much for the warm welcome and care! Health and all the best to the hostess and her husband!
We are very sorry that we did not ask the name of the hostess :-(
NNieva MayThe place is a 25-30 minute walk from the Tobu Nikko station, but you can actually take bus going there. However we didn't know the buses only run until 3 in the afternoon so we had no choice but to walk an uphill road. However it was a very fun experience and the hike was worth it as soon as we were able to take a rest in this humble pension house. The owner was very accommodating, gave us strawberry ice cream and even offered us a ride to the station the next morning. I would say that this place gave us the best definition of ”omotenashi”. Someday when we go back in Nikko , we'll surely stay here once again.

GGuest UserThe guesthouse is quite a way from Nikko town (10-15 mins by bus / 1 hour walk) but is in a good location for getting to the shrines or to Lake Ashi - there's a bus stop close by. The guesthouse was homely and had 2 private onsen. Our room was comfortable enough although the en-suite was very tiny! The host was welcoming but didn't speak any English which meant we had to communicate by translating on our phones. We booked to have breakfast at the guesthouse, but didn't realise that for booking the dinner we needed to give 24 hours+ notice so missed out!
Ttolyazek@mail.ruEverything was great! We lived here for three days in April 2024. The hosts are very friendly and attentive. Breakfast and dinner were very tasty and large, so during the day we didn’t even want to have lunch while walking. Everything in the room is clean and tidy. The place is quiet and beautiful. Nearby there is a large supermarket with everything you need. The bus stop to the waterfalls and lake is also very close. There is also a public onsen nearby, we had a good time there too. In general, we really liked everything! Thank you!
