The facilities are a bit old, but the room was quite spacious. You can see Mount Fuji right from the hotel, and every time I looked back while walking around, I was treated to beautiful views of Mount Fuji. There aren't many restaurants nearby; I tried a couple of places but they all said they were full when they saw I was a foreigner. Eventually, I had dinner at a family-run diner – it was very simple but still an experience. The hotel breakfast was better than I expected, prepared by two elderly people. It was a very Japanese meal, which was a nice cultural experience. If you want coffee, you need to ask the grandma working there.
The environment is clean, and the service attitude is great. The owner is very kind; they upgraded me from a quad room to a single room. Plus, you can rent bicycles, which is super convenient.
I was pleasantly surprised to catch a partial glimpse of the top of Mount Fuji from my room, even though there were buildings obstructing part of the view. The room facilities were very new and well-equipped. I was particularly delighted that the room provided an electric grill, perfect for tabletop BBQ; we bought wagyu beef and fresh vegetables from the supermarket every night to grill. There was also a microwave, which was very convenient. The self-check-in process was smooth and easy. Shopping and dining options nearby were fantastic; there's a convenience store just a few minutes away, and across the street, there's a row of restaurants. Paid hot springs are also available in the vicinity.
The hotel's location is a major plus, just a one-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station. This meant no dragging luggage around after arriving, and it was super convenient for catching the bus early the next morning. You can even see Mount Fuji right from your window (as pictured), and it's about 500 meters from the famous Lawson convenience store (as pictured). We walked to Oike Park in about 15 minutes and enjoyed an impressive fireworks display there. The owner is a kind old man who can speak simple English and even a little Chinese, which was more than enough for check-in and check-out procedures. The room is small and doesn't have a private bathroom, but both the room and the shared toilets were impeccably clean, which was reassuring. There's also a public bath on the fourth floor. It's perfect for a short one-night stay.
As expected for a B&B, the room has tatami floors and is quite spacious.
The overall house is a bit old and the facilities are relatively outdated. There is a public hot spring bath on the first floor with very good water temperature.
The location is a 15-minute walk from Kawaguchiko Station, but the location is good, with restaurants and convenience stores nearby. It's also very close to walk to the Kawaguchiko Bridge.
The old lady runs the business alone and is very friendly and kind. She gave us snacks and flashlights, which was very heartwarming. She also arranged a mountain view room for us, where we could see Mount Fuji, which was a real surprise.
Even though it's a ryokan-style hotel, the private room was quite large and spacious. It had its own bathroom and sink inside the room. The bedding was a futon on the floor, and yukata robes were provided. The shared bathrooms, separated by gender, were outside the room. They were large enough for 3-4 people to shower at once and could be locked. There was also a large soaking tub in the bathroom. But the view of Mount Fuji? Absolutely unbeatable! Especially in the morning with the golden light, Fuji-san looked incredibly beautiful.
It's a perfect location if you plan to stay in Kawaguchiko area. The staff are very polite and they will offer you onsen for free during upon checking in. The room is very spacious and clean, they also have a bike rental for 500 yen per day.
It was an incredible stay. The staff were very kind and welcoming. They offer pick-up and drop-off from the nearest station, which makes getting there very convenient, and it’s easy to rent a bicycle to explore the area.
The town itself is quite quiet at night with not much to do, but during the day you can walk around or rent a bike to visit nearby places. Overall, I definitely recommend staying here.
Although the facilities are old, the sanitation is very clean. There is a young man and two older men at the front desk who are very enthusiastic. One of them wears glasses and speaks English. It is only 1 minute away from Asahigaoka Station, with convenient transportation. There is a convenience store in 2 minutes on foot and the lake in 3 minutes on foot. However, there are almost no restaurants nearby. There is a Fujiwara Izakaya, which is best booked in advance during the peak season. The hotel has a bathhouse, which is not big, but very comfortable. There was basically no one on the second day of my stay, so it can be considered a private bath. The hotel has a curry dinner in the shape of Mount Fuji, but you have to wait for 20 minutes. The breakfast is raw egg rice and miso soup. Because I was going to participate in the marathon, the hotel decided to provide free dinner that day and breakfast the next day.
It's has very cosy feel local Japanese Ryokan(BB) style and we love it. Not luxury, not to expensive but suitable if you looking for Ryokan in Fuji Mt. area. Included nice easy breakfast, not big for Americans but it's delicious.
The location is not recommend for walking to, if you drive a car it will be perfect (free parking)
Some may say it looks old, but to me I would say it looks vintage and classic you couldn't find in the city.

My best stay in Japan. The scenery is amazing (all photos are within my room). The host is a pair of lovely couple, they offered us a ride to nearby event place in the evening. Food is great. Great hospitality. Good location, I took express bus from Hinaro (5 min walk away) to Tokyo next day morning. Please pay a visit if you travelling there!
When I book this hotel there isn't any review so I thought maybe can give it a try. I have a pleasant stay in Yumeyado for 2 nights. The room is spacious for 2 person (tatami style), there is toilet inside room but the shower is opposite the building. I am surprised that the shower room is a Japanese type bath (sento) and we got a private bath. There is also kitchen facilities provided (cooking, microwave, fridge etc). What is missing is coin laundry (not available). Location is 12 mins walk from Kawaguchiko station. There is a restaurant downstairs and 7-11 within 5 mins walk. Mt.Fuji is just right opposite and I was given a room with My. Fuji view.
Ryokan Nashimiya Onsen: Decent Onsen, Spacious Rooms (with a caveat!) Ryokan Nashimiya Onsen offers a decent onsen experience, providing a relaxing and traditional Japanese bathing experience. However, the rooms are quite large, which unfortunately made it difficult for the air conditioning to adequately warm the space. This could be a significant drawback, especially during colder months. Thankfully, the innkeeper went above and beyond to rectify the situation, providing a gas stove heater. This was a lifesaver and greatly improved the comfort of our stay. The innkeeper's helpfulness is definitely a strong positive point for this Ryokan. If you're planning a visit, be aware of the potentially large and difficult-to-heat rooms. However, the onsen is a definite plus, and the innkeeper's willingness to assist guests is commendable. Depending on the time of year and your tolerance for cooler temperatures, this Ryokan could still be a worthwhile experience, especially if you value excellent customer service.
Nice little photo spots around inside hostel (heater nearby), experience corner allows you to try Kimono (free to try inside hostel, chargeable if you want to wear out), and do some little craft. They sell handmade stuff too. There’s a normal kitchen table you can use, and little lockers (with key) if you want to deposit small items near the reception. Washer and dryer are each available for use at a fixed charge (300 yen each, Jan 2025). Japanese style bath house available. Last photo shows the 5 steps to lay the bedding in the room. Decent space and aircon is warm enough for winter period; though there’s no floor heating, they have a table with cloth around that you can use to keep your feet warm. Amenities is 4/5 because they don’t allow you to use the shower for free after check out, but they still allow the use of kitchen, and toilet after check out. Luggage deposit before check in and after check out is free as of Jan 2025.
This is my second time booked this place The front lady is so helpful and friendly Gave the welcome vibes and always smile Place so clean and loundry only 500¥ Which is good after long walk Good view too from infront the hotel To Fuji lake only takes 7 mins Huge living room and complete kitchen Warn people , I like it I will come back to my next visit to Fuji area ❤️

Really kind and helpful owner that is willing to help out guests with their requests. Room was spacious and even have a personal toilet unlike other hostels. There is also an amazing view of mount fuji.
