I booked this place last minute after visiting Hanok Village, and it was absolutely perfect! So affordable, incredibly clean, and wonderfully quiet. The free breakfast was a huge bonus – seriously amazing value for the price! I'll definitely be back 100% next time I'm in Jeonju. Wishing the owner continued success!
The location was wonderful, with most attractions within a 30 minute walking distance. Our host was the kindest, introducing the area to us, recommending popular attractions and restaurants, and even helping us call a taxi when we checked out. The room was also clean and warm during the cold winter, which made our stay in Jeonju memorable!
The man at the front desk can only speak Korean, and he doesn't understand Korean at all, and even if he shows an English voucher, he was at a loss when he said that he had no name in the reservation ‼️. The Korean guest who happened to be there could speak English, so I was able to stay safely by explaining to the front desk in Korean. It was nice that the room was clean and spacious. Also, I was planning to move by early bus the next morning, so the location was good near the high-speed bus terminal. However, it is far from the old town.
I went on a trip to Jeonju for the first time with my husband~ I made a reservation because I was looking for a good accommodation while looking at the view of Hanok Village~
The location is also very satisfactory! The view of the Hanok in the evening was better than I thought ~ The facilities are really !! I loved it because it was so clean and comfortable !!
I think I will stay again if I go again ~~ I recommend it.
I've stayed here many times. The location near the station is fantastic.
Although I arrived earlier than check-in time, they kindly held my luggage and delivered it to my room.
The water dispenser and amenities were provided, but I was a little concerned that the toothpaste wasn't disposable and seemed to be used by previous guests.
The hotel owner was very friendly, and I would definitely like to stay here again.
It's near Jeonju Hanok Village. Parking in Hanok Village is difficult with vehicle control, but we're in at 3 o'clock, but we're arriving at 10 o'clock.
I'm the boss, but I called and I could park in front of the room for an additional parking fee of 5,000 won.
It was a great Jeonju trip to visit Hanok Village and enter the room.
The hostel is completely clean and the staff welcome you
It was nice to book a perfectly nice hostel
This hotel is not really made to visit Jeonju but it does the job given I was there during Chuseok. It has all the basics needed. Bedsheets could be cleaner. The check in and check out is just taking your card at the desk and leaving it in the elevator (no one really checking anything or there in case of problem), which can be relaxing if all goes perfectly and you don’t need assistance.
I had the most beautiful stay at One Madison in Jeonju — truly unforgettable.
This hotel perfectly blends modern comfort with the elegance of a traditional Korean hanok. From the moment I arrived, I felt like I was stepping into a peaceful, aesthetic dream. The architecture preserves the authentic hanok charm, but everything inside feels luxurious and thoughtfully designed.
One of my favorite parts was the traditional-style bathtub inspired by classic hanok design — it made the whole experience feel even more special and unique. Taking a bath there felt like traveling back in time, but with all the modern comfort you could possibly want.
The atmosphere is calm, intimate, and incredibly photogenic. Every corner of the hotel is beautifully curated. The details, the lighting, the textures — everything feels intentional and harmonious.
If you’re visiting Jeonju and want a stay that feels cultural, elegant, and cozy at the same time, this is absolutely the place. I fell in love with it and would 100% stay here again.
Highly recommended. 💛
Very clean, write the bus station 3 kilometers online, in fact, 200 meters, the first day to take a taxi to the hotel, the master turned a corner, the actual line is 200 meters, travel is particularly convenient, the bus is also very convenient, the hotel environment is very good, very spacious, much cheaper than Seoul!
I like that it feels bright inside. The bedding is clean and the amenities are well-equipped. I am overall satisfied with the price. The only thing that is disappointing is parking. There are only 3-4 parking spaces... They said they contacted me in advance when checking in and told me there were no spaces, but no matter how hard I searched, there was no prior contact. Please note this if you have a vehicle.

GGuest UserThe accommodation was sparsely furnished but adequate. The air conditioning shown in the photos unfortunately didn't work. However, air conditioning wasn't mentioned in the description. With a fan, though, we managed to survive the 30°C heat.
TthewandercuratorSuch a lovely, unforgettable experience of staying in a traditional hanok pension. Owners are kind and mainly Korean-speaking locals. They may not be there during check in, so remember the room name in your booking for easy identification, or inform them of your exact arrival time to ensure a smooth process. Our room was cosy but had a comfortable double bed, TV, cold water in fridge, Korean bath towels and clothes hooks. (Hot water kettle and mugs can be found in the mini lounge hut near the gate.) The spacious and separated bathroom was rare, and the ondol floor was such a warm treat in winter. We were even given freshly made tteok and honey as breakfast treats. Good value in the heart of Jeonju, within minutes walk of everything. Thank you for the hospitality! We had a healing stay.
MMinStaying at this traditional Korean thatched-roof house (chogajip) in Jeonju was such a special and unforgettable experience!
I booked this place for my friend visiting from the U.S. to give her a unique taste of Korean culture—and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was great, the room was clean and cozy, and the host was incredibly kind and helpful :)
After booking, I recommend contacting the host in advance to let them know your estimated arrival time—it really helps with check-in. For international guests, it may be a bit difficult to communicate, so having someone help with the message is a good idea!
If you’re visiting Korea, don’t miss the chance to stay in a beautiful chogajip and experience a piece of traditional life. Highly recommended! ❤️
GGuest UserA convenient enough location - at rhe extreme eastern edge of the Hanok village area - still within walking distance of everything you'd want to see and experience in Jeonju.
Although refurbished plainly, the ”pension” room served its purpose - Hanok accomodation by the site.
In my opinion, I think that the room was still undersized ((no room for even a chair or small table) while the washroom was bigger than needed. Small towels, and a finicky door lock could also be addressed.
That said, a very comfortable bed 😀, as opposed to a futon.
Access to the city bus and train station best done by arranging for a taxi as the bus routes on the highway just above the place, are neither reliably scheduled nor matched transit app (at least the one I had.)
AAndrea Montes de OcaThe guesthouse is conveniently located which makes it ideal for exploring Jeonju. The check-in process was smooth and instructions on how to access the room were very clear. Kitchen facilities came in very handy and the room was clean and comfortable. The only downside I would mention is that the walls are paper-thin. We stayed two nights and had no problem on the first night but on the second one, we were awakened by loud guests at 2 am who seemed to be checking in very late (and possibly drunk). I would recommend limiting the check-in time until 00:00 to avoid any complaints or discomfort for in-house guests. Besides that situation the stay was perfect and considering the cost it was very fair.
HHUIThe environment is good and clean. I live in a 4-bed room. The most important thing is to have a bed. When I come to Korea, I miss the bed every day. The phone will come to apply for the card for you (⊙o⊙)
AAlessandraHost's were really friendly and supportive.
Room has floor heating and due to that room got really hot. Shower is really good. We had an issue with the bedding where we complained to the host and he looked into it wanting to give you another room but we stayed in that room as it was only for two nights.
More towels have been also provided after requesting them and a welcome bag with toothbrush, toothpaste, razor and a few other toiletries were in that bag.
Water bottles as much you ask for and even at the checkout the host lady gave us each 2 bottles of water to take with us which was really appreciated and a rare first gesture I experienced.
GGuest UserOverall it was neat, but it was not ready to be remodeled yet.
I didn't know if I could use wifi because I didn't have a phone.
I went to the burn room at dawn, but it was so unpleasant because the smell of cigarettes was so bad. The smell of cigarettes came into the bedroom in the morning and I was suspicious if I really booked a room with no smoking.
The bathroom could not plug in the shower, so I had to carry the shower and use it. There was no shower curtain, so when I washed my hair, the water flowed down to the bathroom floor and wiped it with a towel.
I booked for breakfast, but I couldn't make coffee, and I had only bread and , so I finally brought a piece of food.
There was no guide to return the key, so I just left it at the entrance of the information office. If there is no worker, there should be a guide, but there was not enough guidance.
It was clean and quiet, so I came to rest well.
HHengbinshuishouThere is no subway in the whole state. The location of this store is good. It is not far from the train station and it is also convenient to go to the stadium. It has good value for money.
WWuReally love their service and how kind they are! Mr Choi was already waiting outside at 3pm when I arrived in my Uber. He passionately introduced me to the nearby attractions and recommended food places to eat. He was there when I reach back at the place at night and also in the morning when I leave the place, he will let you know when he will be away just in case you want to look for him. He always asked if the room is too cold, making sure you feel warm on cool winter nights.
Really recommend especially when everything is walking distance away and the owner is really nice ☺️
