The evening meal we took was not good at all
They also wanted me to pay them the room while the latter had already been settled.
I stayed at Lankham Hotel in Pakse for one night and found it to be a good value budget option with a few caveats.
Location: The hotel is very conveniently located in central Pakse—easy to walk to local restaurants, cafés and the main street.
Room & Comfort: My room was spacious, with air-conditioning, a fridge, good hot water for the shower and a solid bed.
This bungalow was an absolute gem. Very affordable, incredibly quiet, and filled with such good, peaceful vibes from the moment I arrived. Being right along the Mekong made every morning and sunset feel special and calming. The place is simple but perfect, exactly what you want to truly relax. The owner, Gilbert, deserve a special mention, extremely kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, calmness and great advice. I felt very welcome and at home here. I would definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxed, authentic, and beautiful place to stay.
The owner is good, friendly. The younger staff are lovely and helpful. No breakfast No drinking water in the room. And have to prepare your own toiletries The accommodation is calm and beautiful, not crowded.
The first impression was with an intrigue! It wasn't easy to get to the hotel at once, and at the door I had to knock a little while wondering whether it was all right. But once the door opened, all doubts dispersed! I was met by such a pleasant and social man that the feeling of light stress instantly changed to the feeling that I came to the guests to the good acquaintances.
And the morning was a real confirmation of this feeling! I met other staff these wonderful, good people. They prepared a delicious breakfast, helped call a taxi and booked a moped for me without any problems. This place was remembered not so much with the external attributes as an incredible spirit of the staff who is ready for the guest for everything!

AAnonymous UserWe enjoyed our stay at You Empjre Hostel and Bar. The staff were super friendly and has great English - really easy to communicate with. They offer a few breakfast of toast, egg and fruit. Nice crazy but a nice touch. The Hostel offers laundry and bike rental services. When it rained our final night some of the things near the window got wet / damp.

CCho DanielSince the resort was sold out, I had no choice but to find a room and stay at this hotel. It's the same establishment as the resort and has a restaurant, which is the best in Donkon. Of course, breakfast is also served here. The hotel is a bit old and primarily operated as a resort, but it has everything you need. It's also conveniently located right next to the pier. Next time I come, I'll definitely stay at the resort!
