Definitely will book here again to stay, the staff is very helpful and good, we are arrive on 1pm, although I asked her can we check in early, she said that 2pm only can check in, but she helping us to proceed check in after 10minutes, really appreciate her. Anyway the location very good and I like to room.

This is my 5th? 6th? time staying at Atelier. They are my top choice as I always have business at Pelangi. This time, I tried booking the Junior Suite, an upgrade from my usual SQ/SK option. Specially for their bathtub as I needed a nice mental break. However, I noticed the bathtub does not even fill. It drains as quickly as it fills so that not only waste a lot of water, it doesn't even fill beyond 10cm of water. It was such a shame I looked forward to enjoying this amenity. The toilet drains really slowly also at one point I panicked because i thought it will flood. All other amenities were amazing. Aircon, bed, tv, perfect. I had an amazing stay I didn't want to go out after my business appointment. I just stayed in and ordered takeout meals. I love Atelier!!! Please consider fixing the bathtub plug so will waste less water and enhance bathtub experience.

Many amenities nearby the hotel. Food, convenient shops, massage parlour, cafes... easily accessible. Room is clean and tidy. Easy check in and check out process. No hassle. Walaupun bilik tak besar sangat dan takde tingkap pun, kira ok sangat dah dengan harga

The location is excellent. Near supermarket and restauranta. So convenient and close to everything I needed, The room was clean but its quite small. Friendly staff and you can do your self check in. So easy. Considering the very reasonable rate, this hotel offers great value for money.

This stay, as always, did not disappoint, maintaining its excellent service quality. From the front desk reception to the room cleanliness and overall environment, everything felt comfortable and reassuring. The staff were friendly and handled requests promptly, making for a very smooth check-in experience. The location is convenient and the price is reasonable. Every time I visit, I can count on a consistent standard, making it a hotel I will continue to choose for future stays.

A really nice place with a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The room was simple and clean, and the bathroom looked very new as well. The price was very affordable. They also kindly allowed me a late check-out without any extra charge. Will definitely come back again. Thank you!

iBilik (”bilik” means ”room”) Hotel, part of Swing & Pillows, is hands down unquestionably the best value for money place to stay in Johor Bahru. It's also one of the cleanest. Umar is the personal embodiment of ”hospitality” and is a shining light and example in Visit Malaysia 🇲🇾 Year 2026. Even the single rooms are big enough for solo travellers with luggage and shopping. Beds are clean and the rooms have everything you need. WiFi is fast and stable. Aircon is very effective. Shower has hot water. Water cooler plus iron and ironing board available on each floor. What more do you need for a few days stay? Highly recommended.

The room was very clean, and the owner's design was thoughtful. They even had an electric mosquito repellent device outside the room (though I still recommend bringing an extra one, as I did encounter some mosquitoes). You can tell if the bathroom is occupied by the light. If you're taking a taxi, the location might feel a bit remote, but there's actually a gas station with a convenience store just a short walk away. Considering the low price, this is truly excellent. However, there are a few things to note: doing laundry costs 7 MYR per cycle, and air conditioning is 13 MYR per day. Also, since the entire building is single-story, there's still a possibility of encountering small insects like ants in the room.

The room was tiny and looked nothing like the pictures. There weren't even any hangers. The location is very remote, with absolutely no shops or restaurants nearby. It's a long walk from the back of the train station. I'd recommend staying at a hotel closer to the train station exit, as that area is very lively with plenty of dining options. The Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple and Johor Ancient Temple are there, and it's just another ten-minute walk to Jalan Tan Hiok Nee. Remember to choose a hotel in the opposite direction from this one for a more vibrant area – it's only a five-minute walk from the station. This hotel was a bit overpriced. I later switched to another hotel that was much larger and cheaper, though they didn't provide bottled water.
