2-Star Hotels in Terengganu, Malaysia

The place is ok .. not very clean, not very dirty .. just a bit noisy because there is a badminton court, right .. because I have a newborn .. but overall it's ok, no complain because there's no hotel holiday, right

The entrance to the facility can be easily found following the dirt road connecting long beach to coral bay. The road starts on the further side from the pier, shortly before Seahorse Divers. Coming from long beach, you just need to walk about 50 meters to get to the entrance. The facility itself is quite large and extends from the bottom to the top of the eastern side of the hill. Depending on your room you might have to walk uphill for a couple of hundred meters. Contrary to what I read in some reviews, at the moment there is no shop, no restaurant and there are no tours offered within the compound. Nevertheless this is not an issue due to the proximity to both beaches where you can find all needed restaurants and services. On the positive side I want to highlight the size and the cleanliness of the room. Very important is also the fact that the mosquito nets are in good shape and inside the room I didn't encounter any mosquitoes at all. The resort itself is kept in a good shape, the maintenance team works daily on minor building renovations and path cleaning. Locals also seem to appreciate the ironing station behind the reception, next to a large common area where it's possible to connect to the internet as WiFi doesn't work in the rooms more uphill. On the negative side the resort strictly enforces a 3 pm check-in policy, which is quite unfortunate as many guests come with the first boats in the morning. Moreover many rooms lack air conditioning. While this is clear at the moment of booking and the fans are doing a decent job, temperatures in the rooms stay high even during the night.

Reception was good. Since we arrived early around 12 noon, we asked for early check-in and very fortunate the room was ready and they allowed.

We spent four days on these heavenly islands, staying at Villamas, a lovely property with a breathtaking sea view. The private beach with sun loungers and deck chairs was truly relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend this property for those looking to relax. You can also take a taxi boat and explore the other sides of the island. Coral Bay is great for sunsets, while Long Beach is great for beach restaurants and music. There wasn't much choice in terms of food, but it was all delicious.

The hotel is satisfactory and near to Kuala Trengganu.Even though we checked in late but the hotel’s staff is easy to contact. The cleanliness is very satisfactory. The price is reasonable. We checked out early in the morning and easier to us just drop the key inside the box.We were in a hurry to get to the jetty..Stay 1 night there for a walk around KT before going to redang island.

I had a good stay at DJ Citi Hotel. The location is very convenient, close to the mosque and market. The best thing is that it is near the bus station, which made it easy for me to travel around. As a solo female traveller, I felt safe staying here. I would definitely stay here again if I visit Terengganu in the future. Saya solo perempuan so selamat senang nak makan,nak balik kl naik bus dekat sangat dengan station bus,memang akan repeat hotel ni frontdesk pun semua baik2 sangat, *************

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The hotel facilities were great, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. I am very satisfied with my experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others. The 7-Eleven downstairs is super convenient. While the hostel itself is simply furnished, the service is great. There's a cafe inside that serves breakfast and offers takeout. My hairdryer kept cutting out after a few uses, but the front desk immediately sent up a new one when I called.

Highly recommend! We stayed near Block B and it was super close to Pasar Payang. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The room was incredibly spacious, just like in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable. It had a fridge, cups, coffee, a heater, and an iron. Everything was fantastic. If I come back, I'll definitely stay here again. The room had a lovely wooden theme and was beautiful. Sorry, the pictures aren't relevant because I forgot to take any of the room, but it really was exactly like in the photos. The staff were also very kind; they even helped me find my lost turtle keychain. Thank you! 💗

Overall, our family was satisfied with our stay for 3 nights at Melur Inn KT. Room for family was spacious and comfortable, bathroom was large and clean with amenities such as towels, water heater and bath soap. Other facilities such as kettle jug, coffee, sugar and creamer are also provided. The hotel's position is also strategic, which is close to Tok Jembal mosque, UniSZA, interesting dining, resort beach and also shopping. the parking facilities are also quite large provided behind the hotel.it's just that the hotel has no elevator facilities and the family room is on the 2nd floor,probably not suitable for the old people and individuals with other health problems.
