I stayed here for a couple of nights and ended up staying for another six—it's a great value for the price.
The main pros: air conditioning and a private balcony with a stunning view of the lake. Funnily enough, I never used the air conditioning the entire time—the fan was sufficient. Everything inside is clean, neat, and pleasant, and overall the hotel looks nice and comfortable. Compared to other options in the same price range, this one is noticeably better.
Cons: The location isn't the most convenient. The view is beautiful, and there's a cafe nearby, but the prices are higher. It's about a 15-minute walk to more accessible places and the city center, and with the ups and downs, it's not always convenient.
I also encountered cockroaches during my stay—I killed three, which certainly spoiled the experience a bit.
In summary: if you're looking for peace and quiet and a place to recover after a trek, this is a great option. It's also suitable if you rent a bike and have comfortable transportation. Overall, for the money, it's a very decent option.
Very clean and new room. About 8 to 10 mins walk to Sarangkot view point. Staff was nice and kind. Hot water was working in the evening but not in the morning. I also realised that some rooms seem to have TV but mine doesn’t. Breakfast was decent. Wake up to the sunrise view from the room and you can also go to the rooftop to enjoy the view. There’s construction going on just beside and in front of the hotel so bear in mind that it’s noisy with hammering and drilling sounds throughout the day. They also offer dinner menu in case you want to snug in but unfortunately I did not get to try it as I went to a place nearby for food. Overall a recommended place!
The boss speaks Korean very well! There was no problem communicating at all and he treated me kindly!
The Korean food served at Harry's is cheap and delicious!
I had a great rest!
The hotel was nice and clean and it was very close to Begnas Lake which is pretty good for lake visiting and fishing activities. The only thing is they didnt recognize my booking and i paid manually. Hotel should be aware about their property listed website and should accept the guest who made booking via app where their property is listed.
I had an excellent stay at Hotel Mountain View in Pokhara! The rooms were clean, the view was lovely, and the location was peaceful yet close to Lakeside & in front of Bashundara Park. What truly made the experience special was the friendliness and warmth of the owner—he went out of his way to make me feel welcome and help with local suggestions. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, affordability, and genuine Nepali hospitality!
Really good staff very good and quick service from the staff no need to remind for everything just tell them only once what you want and it's done although the hotel was packed all the time but managed really well with clean environment and the location is also very nice just Infront of the lake
I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights and 7 days, and it was a wonderful experience.
All of the staff were extremely kind and even carried our heavy suitcases for us.
On the day of our Mardi Himal trek, they safely stored our luggage, and we stayed here again after descending. They also prepared a packed breakfast in advance for our early trekking day, which we really appreciated.
The hotel owner is on-site every day, so whenever we needed something, it was taken care of immediately.
The hotel also managed everything for us, including hiring a porter for the Mardi Himal trek and booking taxis, which made our stay very comfortable and stress-free.
All the staff were friendly, the rooms were clean, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious.
If I come back again, I would definitely stay here again.
There are some clean rooms and some dirty ones. If you check in early, you can choose your room. Hot showers are only available for a limited time. Hair dryers can be borrowed from the reception. It's within walking distance of Lakeside.
The hotel owner is friendly and will call a taxi for you. They will also store your luggage for free if you're going trekking.

中中島美儀ZoeyThe hotel is located on the mountaintop, about a 35–45 minute drive by taxi from Lakeside. You can also choose to take the cable car. Once you arrive, you’ll immediately feel that the journey is absolutely worth it.
This is a truly beautiful and unique place to stay. The surroundings are stunning, especially on a clear day when you can enjoy breathtaking views. What impressed us the most was the service — everyone was incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful, making us feel genuinely cared for throughout our stay.
We were celebrating our anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with lovely decorations and a cake. It was completely unexpected and made our stay even more special and memorable. We are truly grateful for the effort and hospitality, and this will always be one of our most wonderful travel memories.

PPaul StephenWe were happy with Hotel My Dream after spending 5 nights there. It's a low cost hotel, run by a very nice family. Breakfast was good The location is great, the lake is across the road and it's an area with lots of choices to eat. I think it's worth paying a little more for the better rooms with Lakeview and aircon. We would stay here again if I came to beautiful Pokhara.
GGuest UserI felt super comfortable staying here! All the people working there are really helpful, gentle and make you feel at home. The place is great! You have an amazing view on the lake and mountain and there is a beautiful area outside with a bar/restaurant where you can just chill or eat with a beautiful surroundings. Food amazing too!! I would highly recommend staying there!

AAnonymous UserMy second stay here. Boss was flexible, lovely and very helpful. It’s about 8 mins walk to the lakeside and 20 mins to the tourist bus stop. However, biggest downside is that there’s no hot water for this chilly winter weather, I tried for both the morning and evening and there was no water hence I didn’t get to have a proper shower.

GGuest UserThe room was clean and the hot water in the shower came out. I saw the Himalayas mountain 々 from the window. It is in a quiet place at a reasonable price. The staff was also good.
