2-Star Hotels in West Coast, New Zealand

Short drive to Lake Matheson and Fox Glacier view. Big and nice with shelter for car park right in front of the motel. Salt/pepper/rice cooker/bread toaster/milk/ basic utensils for cooking are provided. All is good except that towels aren’t changed daily.

The room was simple but clean and well equipped. I checked in late so I did not get to meet the front desk staff. However the staff was kind enough to leave the check in instructions in an envelop for me. The environment around this hotel was serene and very close to nature and it certainly offered me a sharp contrast to the bustling urban city life that I came from. .

Prettige ontvangst al is dat eenvoudig qua presentatie. Het ligt buitenaf maar is goed toegankelijk direct aan grote straat. Het appartement is gehorig maar er was geen sprake van overlast. Koop wel sand flies repellent voor als je buiten bent,

It's pretty good. The cabin has a separate bathroom. There should be four rooms, sharing a living room with a kitchen. The hostel is in another room. The bed room also has a large kitchen. This small room is very cost-effective. The town of Fox is not big. There are only two or three restaurants for dinner. So, it only takes five or six minutes to walk to the fireflies. You can go and see them at night. You can see them in a few minutes.

It's just a normal motel with a public kitchen and good hygiene. It's a place where I'm passing through. The front desk is very welcoming. There's a parking lot. There are restaurants and supermarkets nearby, but they all close early.

Very bright, original hostel! There are both common rooms and separate rooms. I stayed in a separate room with a terrace - it was excellent! The room is cozy, like all the rooms in the hostel, there is heating, bed is comfortable, underwear is clean, there are towels, everything is very comfortable! The general shower and kitchen is clean! The spacious kitchen is perfectly equipped with everything necessary, I liked it very much! The staff is very polite and friendly. There is a parking lot. I'm happy to stop here again!

Except for the troublesome shower, everything else is fine
