The woman who answers the phone is incredibly strange (to put it mildly). She answers calls while simultaneously distracted by her own affairs, speaking rudely. It's scary to imagine foreign tourists checking in here; she barely even speaks Russian. The location is good, but the downside is that it's incredibly loud. Every day, by 5 a.m., they start making noise and clearly don't care that other guests are still sleeping. On Saturday, two drunk women rented the room next door, and everyone's conversations were audible. If you want a good night's sleep, this is definitely not the place. Looking for adequate accommodations, too.

The island is a wooden homestay, this is relatively new, and it is still expanding. The sound insulation effect of the room is basically zero. On the first day, someone played songs in the early morning, and it was too noisy to count, because the front desk was not 24 hours, plus the language was not available, and the squat could bear it. There is no active room service here. Unlike in China, she needs to tell the boss that she will send someone to deal with it. There is no wifi in the room, I don't know if the boss deliberately did it. Breakfast is more general, anyway, I don't like it very much, walk to Shaman Rock for more than 20 minutes, you can swim in the lake.
Facilities: As described in Trip.com , the picture is basically the same as the toilet bath is public, and the kitchen can also cook something.
Hygienic: It feels relatively clean
Service: Can not open a residence certificate, the front desk can speak Russian, basically using a translator can be done

The island is mostly filled with guesthouses like these, with shared bathrooms and showers, owners who speak English, good natural scenery, and decent locations. I heard that to protect the island's environment, large-scale hotel construction is not allowed, so almost all the accommodations on the island are of this type.
Everything is great, the room is good, but sad that I had previously called the administrator, agreed all nuances about the placement of my family, agreed what better to book, on the site I made a discount for rent, But as a result, I was forced to pay more for the room
I didn't notice how I booked a room without a sauna. In general I thought the booking was worse. Staff super welcoming! Very polite. Only pleased with that. The rooms are normal, in general on their money. For the second time I won't take a number without a sanitary (though he is clean and correct
The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The mattress was soft, and the bathroom was clean. The only downside was that it was on the street, and there was a lot of noise and vibration when the trams passed by. However, the trams stopped after 11 o'clock, so there was no noise and it was not fun. The advantage was that it was close to the 130 block, only a three-minute walk away.
We really loved the hotel; it felt like we were visiting relatives in the countryside. The hotel is a historic building, with a courtyard decorated with garlands and tables. Floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to enjoy breakfast and lunch while looking out over this beautiful setting. Most importantly, almost everything in the hotel is genuine vintage, not refurbished or ”antique.” So if comfort and state-of-the-art plumbing are your top priorities, you'll want to stay somewhere else, a comfortable but impersonal hotel. We really liked the room's interior, and the hotel has very high ceilings, so you don't feel like you're in a small cage. The bed linen was fresh and clean—white stripe satin—and the room overall was so clean that I felt like I could walk barefoot on the wooden floors, which is something I rarely do. Yes, the hotel is very noisy, but it didn't bother us, perhaps because we were lucky with our neighbors. The hotel staff deserves special thanks: they checked us in much earlier, allowing us to rest after the journey, and they were very responsive to all our requests and questions. If we ever return to Irkutsk, we'll most likely return here again.

It was my first time to go to Lake Baikal. It was very close to the lake. It was great.
Great hotel in the very center of the city. Convenient location, good service. The rooms are well equipped, everything is modern and does not look cheap or ridiculous. But the walls in the shower need to be updated!
This was our second time staying here, just passing through. Check-in was quick, the room was clean, and it was perfect before our next flight. I highly recommend it!
A very quiet and cozy log cabin guesthouse. The owner speaks fluent English and is very friendly. Their restaurant has good food/a bit pricey (but prices on the island are acceptable). It's located on the edge of the village. I bought a round-trip ticket, and a car picked me up and dropped me off at the door.

Location: 10min walk to business zone. Very near to bus station and tramway stop. Bad: Its nearness to the tramway stop makes it easily affected by its noise. The noise usually stops at 9pm and starts 7am. But it's actually an interesting experience to live in small building like this.
This little cabin is absolutely gorgeous, super super nice! Picture one shows the entrance at dusk 🌆 Most importantly, the location is fantastic, very close to the island's largest shop, just a few hundred meters away. It's about a 20-minute walk to Shaman Rock, and a 10-15 minute walk to the lake from the exit (turn left) along a charming wooden path (picture two). The breakfast is also quite delicious, and it changes daily. There's a TV in the hotel; the local channel is very interesting 👍🏻
