The place is amazing! It's located in the center, but a little hidden, so it's always quiet there. It is very comfortable and the atmosphere there is nice. It’s like being in a village with your grandparents. If I come to Samarkand again, I will definitely stay at this place.

The hotel is beautiful, fresh, and everything is new with a pleasant interior. The staff are friendly and always willing to help if they can. The cleaning lady is also very nice. The rooms are small but have everything you need for a comfortable stay. Each floor has a small balcony where you can smoke if you wish or enjoy a morning coffee, assuming you manage to snag it. Downsides: The bathroom had very high humidity; I had to keep the door wide open constantly, otherwise, the towels wouldn't even dry. At night, a strip of light enters the room because the door isn't fully sealed. Around 2 AM, some staff member noisily checked in new guests, talking loudly and so on. There was no respect for sleeping guests – I, of course, woke up. While being polite to some guests, they shouldn't disregard the right of others to rest. In general, noise from the corridor and slamming doors is very audible, but what kind of soundproofing can you expect with such a gap between the door and the wall? I wasn't particularly impressed with the breakfast: there's nothing to complain about, but nothing to praise either. I went once and didn't feel like going again. It's clean, decent, and cozy, but for the price per night in Qatar, I've had poached eggs with salmon for breakfast, not just mild yogurt and sausages. But these are differences between countries, and overall, I have no complaints about the hotel itself; you can certainly get enough to eat. The people and the interior were what I liked most. I recommend this hotel to everyone!

Excellent location, generous service, and authentic charm near Registan. We stayed at Shahram Plus SH for one night, with a short extension, and had a wonderful experience. The location is excellent. It is in a quiet local neighborhood, just a short walking distance from Registan Square, the mausoleums, and the nearby bazaar. It feels peaceful and authentic while still being very convenient for sightseeing. The courtyard is beautiful and traditional, with a charming and authentic design that reflects the local culture. Our room was very large and spacious, easily accommodating three guests. It was beautifully decorated, well heated, and also equipped with air conditioning. There were plenty of outlets for charging devices, which is always appreciated while traveling. The bathroom was spacious and included a large bathtub and a western-style toilet. Free drinking water is available in the basement kitchen area, though guests need to bring their own bottles or cups. One thing we especially appreciated was the generosity of the staff. We explained that we had booked a night train departing after midnight and asked if a later check-out would be possible. They kindly offered us a much later check-out so we could relax and freshen up before heading to the station. We truly appreciated this flexibility. The staff were incredibly accommodating and friendly throughout our stay and treated us like part of their family. Breakfast was also very good. The dishes were local, freshly made, filling, and delicious. A couple small notes for future guests: the toilet paper may not meet Western European standards, so you may wish to be prepared. Also, the beds are quite firm. If you are a side sleeper, the firmness may take some adjustment. Aside from these minor points, the rest of our stay was excellent. We highly recommend this hotel for its location, authentic atmosphere, and the incredible service from the entire staff.

I stayed here to catch an early sleeper train. The station is about 3 minutes away. I couldn't eat breakfast, so they prepared a lunch box for me. The front desk staff were also very helpful, so I was able to stay there with peace of mind. The train tracks are right next to the hotel, and you can see the trains parked at the station, so although you can hear the trains, it wasn't too bothersome and I was able to get a good night's sleep.

The landlord is very attentive. I contacted the landlord via WhatsApp and sent him the location. When I arrived, the landlord was waiting for me downstairs and took my luggage upstairs. The room was specially reserved for me. It was newly renovated and fully equipped. The landlord replied to messages very quickly and solved all my problems. I will stay here again next time and will recommend it to my friends on Xiaohongshu!

NNorehanThe hotel is in a very strategic location, close to Registan Square, historical sites, and Siyob Bazaar, all within walking distance. We stayed for 4 nights. The first night, we had a spacious room with good amenities, but the air conditioner was old and hot. We requested to move to a room downstairs; the room was smaller and lacked amenities like a kettle, and drinking water was not provided, but the air conditioner worked well. Breakfast had limited options and was minimal. The staff, made up of family members, were very helpful. This hotel can be considered as one of the options. It is recommended that the management upgrade the breakfast and provide some essential facilities for tourists.

HHami NguyenThis guest house is a wonderful budget-friendly option in Samarkand. It’s conveniently located near the city center, only about 2 km from Registan Square and other major attractions, making it very easy to get around. The room rates are affordable, with options for 2 or 4 guests, which is perfect for couples, families, or groups of friends. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities for a pleasant stay. The host is incredibly kind, gentle, and always willing to help with anything you need. One of the highlights was the homemade breakfast prepared by the family — generous, delicious, and offering a wide variety of dishes each morning. For easier navigation or when booking a taxi, it’s best to search for “Bilol Hotel” on Google Maps. Wishing this lovely guest house continued success and many more happy guests in the future!

Yyz6568On my last day of independent travel in Samarkand, I had an 8 AM train, so I wouldn't be able to make breakfast. I informed the front desk in advance to prepare the check-in certificate (the small slip of paper) for me in the morning. This is a Uzbekistan regulation; if you've been traveling here for more than three days, border control might randomly check your accommodation certificates from hotels and guesthouses when you exit the country. They also prepared a packed meal for me. The staff member on duty in the morning quickly sorted everything out. Since this hotel is located on a pedestrian street, arriving and departing by ride-sharing service requires going to a spot not far diagonally across from the hotel, then passing through a small gate to a back street to pinpoint the pick-up/drop-off location. For arrivals, contact the hotel beforehand, and they will email you the details. For departures, some ride-sharing drivers might get confused and have trouble finding the spot. It's usually not a big deal, but when we left in the morning, it happened twice, and we almost had to ask the front desk staff to call a car for us.

ZZhizihuawuyueWe set a triple room, the room is very clean, the decoration is very special, the service is very warm, the breakfast is very rich, you can store your luggage, when you leave the store, you also help us arrange a free delivery to the train station, and send a special gift to the store, and also intimately take a photo with us! In short, the accommodation experience is great! The only fly in the ointment is that there are no slippers and shower caps!
