As a Tasmanian and live here all my life but have never visited Tullah a small west coast town in the heat of the SW wilderness Stayed in a quaint ex miners cottage So much to see and do for the adventurous plenty of lakes and magnificent walks to do We set out early to climb Mt Mackintosh a truly magnificent 2.15 hour walk to the summit although a reasonable challenging walk at times with some steep sections if you’re reasonably fit should be able to complete with stunning views along the walk On our return had a meal at the Lake side lodge a great place to grab a fabulous meal a drink we also returned that night to listen to so live music in the evening friendly staff a inside and outside dining next to the lake There a small train running weekends and local history to read A great place to spend so time exploring
