We stayed on a whim, last minute. We were already heading up to Torridon and decided to cut Skye from the trip and stay in the Glencoe area for three extra days instead. Our room was stunning and quite large for the UK. Dinners were excellent and so was the breakfast. But best of all was the staff, who constantly went out of the way to help and were lovely to our five-year-old daughter. This is truly a special spot for exploring the less frequented area of Invergarry, which is neatly nestled between Glencoe and Loch Ness.

Our hiking group who were walking the Great Glen Way spent 1 night at the Glengarry Hotel, Invergarry. Just fantastic. Its everything castle accommodation should be. So much history. The hotel is situated in an idyllic location, with views onto the Caledonian canal and beyond to the Glens. The Staff were very welcoming and helpful at reception. The guest rooms were clean and comfortable. I was booked into a single room, it had a bath as well as a shower, heaven after a long day hiking. Dining in the restaurant was an absolute pleasure. The cuisine done to perfection, the service excellent with staff being helpful and engaging. Everything on the menu was sourced locally. It was a wonderful experience to have spent one night here, felt welcomed and highly recommend this hotel to others. Thank you.
