Convenient location with good service. Room is clean and breakfast also has enough variety.

Front desk and concierge supervisor are extremely helpful also with great hospitality and thoughtful. This is my second time to stay here, room isn’t that big but quite cozy, would definitely stay here again in the future.

The staff were so helpful and attentive. In particular the concierge Morgan Zhang, who went out of his way to help me book by airport car pickup. Irene at the reception was also extremely helpful and Davis Huang the concierge in the morning. We loved our stay.

My over all experience at the Sunrise On The Bund Hotel was good. Hotel management made sure they provided me with English speaking representatives to check in and to answer any questions. concierge was very helpful since I was not traveling about Shanghai with a tour guide concierge requested taxis for me when I was going out and they always wrote the addresses of the different places I was going in Chinese to give to cab drivers as I traveled throughout Shanghai. this made communicating with taxi drivers much easier. They also made sure I had the Hotels address written down on paper in Chinese as well. the breakfast was fresh and staff was friendly. I definitely would stay again.

Staff Marco is helpful, location and view is good,👍🏻 The only issue is there is construction works nearby.

been my 4th time to stay at bathe Sunrise and the concierge in the lobby always recognise me and is super friendly and super helpful , only this time the C trip app somehow in the booking allocated a twin und stead of king bed but the check in staff fixed it nicely. With the Hotel super happy with the C trip booking app not so much

Great stay.

The room was a bit smaller than I was expecting. The pool looked great but I didn't use it. The bathtub was great and I easily fit in it. I'm iffy if I would stay again. 2 reasons. It's winter so I could not get the air-conditioning to actually cool off the room and I like cold rooms. So I had to open a window but neighboring construction started at 7am so that was unpleasant. Not the hotel's fault. With the windows closed I could barely hear anything, I just needed them open to keep the room cool. Second was that while the curtains in the room do a fair job of blocking sunlight, the curtain in the bathroom did not. There is a glass door between the bathroom and the bedroom, so the early morning sun had no problem making my room light. I like cold rooms and dark rooms so I can sleep in in the morning. I got neither of these. The location is great, and while I didn't eat at the restaurant due to other plans, the food smelled great. Wanting to try the pool and eat at the restaurants is definitely what would bring me back. If I book again, I'll try to get a room with better curtains and hopefully a room that can be cooled (I know many hotels turn off the A/C in winter, so it's not just a problem here).
