Apartments in Madrid

It was a very pleasant stay. It is close to Plenilunio Mall, about 7 minutes walking, also close to the airport. It is located in a quiet area. To be able to cook in the aprtment you need to make a deposit of 20 euros. Overall satisfied with the experience and the price

Modern, clean and comfortable. Properly equipped. Extremely well located. Perfect for a couple of days in Madrid. The only little drawback: the absence of international channels on the TV. A special mention to the staff at the reception. I left a little bag when I left the place and it appears Giangiacomo went out of his way to have it mailed to me. A big thank you!

Love, love! I stayed in a love hotel! The location of our hotel in Madrid is superb, and the gates are as heavy as the gates of the Palace of the Yangshuo. No one knows that the door is pushed in, and the modern and artistic atmosphere is coming. While my boss was registering, I looked around and found photos of John Lennon and his Japanese wife. Did they live there? I joked confidently with my boss: Are these all celebrities who have lived there? Can we live in a house with Lennon? The boss replied calmly: We have a total of 26 rooms here, and each room is named after a great love story. We have arranged you to your ”Liu y Xu” room in China. My face was bewildered, and I was struggling to pronounce Liang Shanzhu and Zhu Yingtai's pronunciation ”Liang & Zhu” in my head. The baby's mother immediately responded: Is that the love ladder? The boss seemed to understand us when he saw us, so he was confident to go elsewhere! Part of a hostel. Bedroom is small with worn out built in robes. There’s ironing board with no iron. Living area is spacious. TV only has Spanish programs. Kitchen has fridge, electric cooktop, washing machine, dishwasher, pots & fry pan, plates/bowls, kitchen utensils. No dishwashing powder for dishwasher, nor washing machine. One problem is there’s no power point in kitchen area for benchtop electrical appliances. For some reason the electrician didn’t connect any power points next to benchtop. We had to use the kettle, toaster & coffee machine at the power point next to the floor. Even the staff couldn’t explain why. Maybe only in suite 306. Staff has to defrost the fridge as it’s slowly building up ice. 3rd night was a bit noisy from nearby till early hours of the morning not sure from nearby neighbourhood or from hostel. No tea/coffee/milk provided. Stayed 3 nights with no housekeeping done. Good location facing road leading to Plaza Mayor. It’s a very busy street. Not very clean with lots of rubbish & homeless people sleeping around the place. Other streets much cleaner & some with beautiful buildings.

A taxi from the airport is around 20 Euros. The location is OK. It is also close to the subway. The hotel environment is also good. It feels like a homestay. There is a microwave oven, induction cooker, etc. in the room. The breakfast is Western-style. The Chinese may be used to drinking some milk. Others I am not used to, haha. The waiter is fluent in English, The whole is good, it is recommended!

My husband, baby and I enjoyed the apartment stay here so much that we booked a second night. We really wanted a bigger bed & terrace but were told that since we had a baby, we could not have a terrace. We were disappointed by this but decided to stay in the room we had originally anyway - it lacked any view so I wouldn’t book that particular apartment again but as far as space and necessities went, it was fine. The two gentlemen who greeted us and showed us to our room were incredibly kind and helpful. When we arrived we went for a drink on the rooftop for sunset, it was lovely. We paid for our rooms & breakfast upfront for both nights. We also received drink tickets for booking online with the company & check in - nice touch. Upon check out we were met by an individual who needs a course on tact, etiquette and respect. Andria I believe her name was (brunette with glasses) did not ask how our stay was or anything like a normal person working for a hotel would when a customer leaves. Instead she attacked and demanded money from us that we already paid. It was shocking. It took awhile to sort it out which caused my family, especially myself holding my baby so much stress as we were constantly accused of not paying our bill. We sure were not going to pay twice! It was unbelievable. No one deserves to be spoken to like we were spoken to. I am shocked at the lack of tact and etiquette along with insults coming from this individual. SmartRentals should be completely mortified with this person representing their chain and dealing with people at all. I would never come back because of this treatment. I asked for the managers info and she refused it. She also refused it when I asked another gentleman working there for it which was strange. If she happens to have the title of “manager”, then the blame goes to the top of the company for hiring or giving a job to this individual who failed completely to resolve the situation as a manager is normally trained to do. The lack of communication between staff or the computer system is not the fault of the customer. The inaccurate blame towards customers regarding payment that was paid is flat out wrong. It is unfortunate to have to give a terrible review for a great stay until the end but this experience should not happen to anyone else and this person should not be working in “customer service” for any company. The worst treatment I have ever received at a hotel, it was so low class. Horrible experience.

When I checked into this hotel, I was very pleasantly surprised. The room was very large and the facilities were very complete. The only drawback was that the washing machine was broken. It was the most comfortable room I have ever stayed in in Europe!

Marvelously decorated comfortable 2 bedroom apartment; 1 WC with amazing water pressure; lots of towels; kitchen fully equipped for making your own meals (no microwave) with large fridge with freezer, dishwasher (it has a convenience package with one dishwasher tablet, one lilliput capsule dish detergent for hand washing, a cloth, a small dish mop), electric stove top and oven, Nespresso coffee machine (with 4 capsules), tea cattle and tea; Very good WiFi; 2 big LED TV (bedroom and living room, with 2 remotes), Netflix ready (if you have a personal account); A/C with apartment control panel; 2 small balconies. Rooftop bar with heated swimming pool. Restaurant with nice breakfast available (we had our breakfast previously booked and are very glad we did so). We arrived early and had our luggage safe stored by the front desk personnel; same for when we had our check-out (late flight). Super nice, friendly, helpful professional personnel. Superb location, if you are a moderate walker you can walk to just about everywhere. Lots and lots of restaurants (all prices range) within 200m radius (some 24h open). Bus in front of the Hotel door; Metro (Subway) about 100 meters top. Excellent stay.

Positives: Great location right on Tirso de Molina and between a 24/7 Carrefour and a Lidl Supermarket.... My very spacious studio was an accessible room . Washing machine capsule, cleaning kit, 2 coffee pods supplied. no other supplies. Walkable to Plaza Mayor, Sol, Latina and possibly to Atocha depending on your luggage. good wifi. Theatre district area. Negatives: Despite a modern build and 'soundproofed' i was woken at 5am the second morning by noisy guests upstairs who seemed to be having a very loud conversation while moving furniture. My room 26 looked over a busy street so there was some street noise. Lighting is a bit dim for spectacle wearers.Limited reception hours and luggage hold during those hours. Would choose to stay again as i know the area and is very convenient.
