After a last minute scramble to find a hotel with availability we booked the Megim through hotels.com. We requested a room with three beds and on arrival saw that the rooms were too small to comfortably accommodate three adults and took two rooms - we were given an extremely good price for the second room and were surprised and happy. Rooms were small but clean, comfortable each with a little balcony. The hotel is across the street from a nice pebble beach with a super cafe/bar, sunbeds and umbrellas. the hotel is a short drive to the town center and the owner arranged for taxis to and from the town whenever we needed them.

Location, driving for an hour and a half from the port of Crete, in the mountains, steeper, rent a car. . Because this town is relatively remote, we walked down the town and I was with my husband and two Asians. The outside of the hotel looked very clean. After entering, the facilities were old and there were electric fans. The keys are also very personal, there are no toiletries, the bathroom is small, and the breakfast is not very rich.
