Extremely satisfied! The guesthouse owner personally escorted us to our room and gave us a detailed introduction to the local attractions and dining options, especially how to get to the beach and the best way to walk there. What's most noteworthy is how close the guesthouse is to the sea; you just walk out of the complex, cross the road, and you're there. The beach is beautiful; at sunset, the sea is bathed in a golden glow, even the waves shimmer with gold, and there are many small birds foraging on the sand. Strolling along the beach, chasing the waves 🌊, I was completely enchanted. In the evening, going clamming is an excellent choice, and the guesthouse thoughtfully provides tools and sand toys for kids free of charge. This trip was a bit rushed, so next time, I'll definitely make sure to set aside more time to play!

I stayed at this hotel in Xiamen back in 2017, when it had just opened, and I was really impressed with both the room facilities and the service. For this family trip, I specifically chose to come back here. The location is super convenient, right next to Powerlong One Mall, and most importantly, I honestly couldn't find another place with better value for money for this two-bedroom type (in my opinion)! However, I have to admit the rooms are definitely showing their age. And for some reason, this room type had a strong smell. We switched to another room which was a bit better, but there was still a musty odor. The staff's service attitude was impeccable, though. I guess it's all about the value for money here.

The room's location is fantastic, near Xiamen University, with a shopping mall right downstairs, making travel very convenient. The room facilities are good, and the hygiene is also quite nice. Outside the window, it's half mountain, half sea, though Block B obstructs the view a bit, it's not a major issue. The host was very enthusiastic, helping to recommend delicious restaurants and New Year's Eve activities. Overall, it's a highly recommended place.

While the butler and customer service were great, and issues were handled promptly, the hotel's cleanliness was truly appalling. There was dust on the tables, and a layer of something (I assume dust, but it wouldn't wipe off) on the disposable toiletries in the bathroom. Plus, the previous guest's trash hadn't been emptied from the cabinets, and the microwave was damp and had an odor when opened.

The apartment location is in good environment, going around with taxi is fair enough, however, the building itself doesn't exist on the map, only the neighbor one does, which made us difficult to find the right building when we first arrived, plus we have no idea that the check in room, is one of the room on the 5th floor, as in the address of the hotel, it just put room 501, 521 Gaolin Road, etc. I recommend to give more details to ease the check-in of the hotel description like, 'when arrive, please contact room 501 on the 5th floor to check in', also, the hotel should pin the exact building location on the map, otherwise, guests may get lost on first arrive like us, whereas people around don't speak English to help too. The apartment itself is clean and in good condition with good space & layout. Facilities are good enough, except, the kitchen is kind of waste because there is no kitchenette at all, they only provide bottle water, glasses/paper cup & electric kettle in the kitchen, in which we expect a hotel apartment should have at least some kitchenette like tableware, cutlery, pot or pan (as they have electric stove) and at least a microwave oven & dishwashing liquid, which partly why we choose to stay in the apartment rather than normal hotel. This is one of the upset issues that we have for this stay. The breakfast comes as McDonald's breakfast coupon consists of one small Berger & a drink, which is fine as McDonald is on the street level of the building itself. Plus thing is that we can request for more bottle water & the disposable towel with no additional cost. Although the disposable towel is not so good to use as towel, they are still acceptable & hygienic, so, if you want more comfort, I suggest, bring your own towel. The washer works well, no dryer, but they provide hanger with drying space where there are windows open. The nearest large shopping center, Wanda Plaza, is nearby, taxi costs only ~CNY10, where you can find lots of restaurants & Walmart, etc. In overall, this property is good & worth of money.

This guesthouse is perfectly situated on Huandao Road, one of Xiamen's best tourist areas. It offers panoramic views of Gulangyu Island and Xiamen University's Baicheng Beach, with all sea-view rooms. The night view is mesmerizing, and by day, it feels like you're flying above Xiamen with clouds at your feet. The service is warm and attentive, especially friendly to cat lovers. Step downstairs, and you're right on Shapowei Pedestrian Street, which is fantastic! The street is packed with incredibly good value Xiamen specialty foods, a feast for both the eyes and the stomach. This place offers exceptional value for money.

The stay experience is great! Downstairs of the apartment is Taihe Square. I want to eat a big meal, watch a new movie, and have a drink with my friends. I can go downstairs. It is the ultimate gospel of ”lazy people”. Supermarkets, convenience stores, cafes have everything, and life is extremely convenient. On weekends, you don’t have to go far at all, and you can go shopping in the business district for a day. B2 The soundproofing of the apartment is also good. Close the window is a quiet personal world. Open the door is a bustling city. This feeling of movement and quietness is very happy.

The location is right inside the Petronas Twin Towers, which is fantastic. The view from the window is absolutely perfect, offering a complete view of Gulangyu Island. It's beautiful at dawn and dusk. The bathtub is by the window, and soaking in it while enjoying such a view is truly invigorating. The nearby Conrad Hotel also offers the same view, making it well worth the price. Furthermore, there's a shopping mall downstairs with restaurants, shops, convenience stores, and supermarkets, which is incredibly convenient. It's also just a 6-minute walk to Shapowei, another major selling point. The room has a minimalist style that I like, with a smart TV and curtains. The staff was also very lovely, always smiling and helpful. Thank you! The only drawbacks are: 1. Poor soundproofing; you can hear footsteps or luggage being dragged upstairs; 2. Low ceilings, so they divided one floor into two; 3. There's currently no subway station nearby; 4. Although it's advertised as a non-smoking room, there was an ashtray and a lingering tobacco smell. However, overall, it's very good value for money and a pleasant trip.
