Love the peace and quiet of Balgownie Estate. Near to the winery and close to nature. Especially love the big space room, with heater in the bath was much loved. We barely left the room and just hung out in the room Wished the service level could be improve to make the trip perfect. Have sent 3 emails/query via Trip portal prior to our arrival, to seek advise in getting around Yarra but to no response at all. Upon approach the counter, the attitude of the reception was nonchalant on whatever question we post to them. Could have been better! That aside, Yarra Valley is just simply beautiful!

Like the hotel vibe and friendly staff. Big free parking. Very good and big room. For some more $$$ you can get golf view, otherwise the room will face parking. Did not like the breakfast - a bit overpriced, was charged for small child as well and not that much to eat

I loved the location — it’s set in a comfortable part of the Docklands with a shopping centre nearby. The room and bed were very good, providing a comfortable stay. However, my only disappointment was the cleanliness: many surfaces, including the cups, had fingerprints and grease marks, which suggested a lack of proper cleaning. I ended up cleaning them myself. That said, the staff were excellent — especially at the front desk, where they were professional, welcoming, and very helpful.

This was an h expected surprise as we booked o it 24 hrs before check in. The place was amazingly located basically in the middle of the parklands, how's they get council approval for that? Breakfast included was awesome as it's a disappearing amenity. The room is small but it's not a concern as it has great style and didn't feel cramped for a couple. This will be my future go to place for any future trip.

Beautiful accomodation and scenery. We stayed recently only for one night as we were near by for a friend’s wedding. We would love to come back and utilise the facilities more, especially the golf course! We also ordered room service, which wasn’t that great. We had burgers (veggie and beef) and were both underwhelmed. I can’t vouch for other choices though! The included breakfast was delicious.

It is not fair to comment on the facility and interior of the hotel because I made a mistake on date. I tried immediately amend through the app, but the robot does not give me options. I called the apps customer service, but was told that I have to wait. I try to take things on my hand to handle it calling the hotel but getting into the call center. everybody at the call center says that they cannot help with third-party reservation. But the third-party which is Trip.com told me through its agent and it’s robot that it’s talking to Hotel and it’s checking if the hotel can help me to change the date. This is not true the hotels I told me that they cannot touch the reservation. I’m not sure which side is lying, but I know I’m being kicked around by both side. OK fine. I will never use you again and I will do my best to make sure that everybody knows my experience. Thank you very much.

The price is great! Parking is super convenient! This is my second time staying here, and I'll definitely be back. The only downside is the breakfast, it was really bad 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. Whether they offer breakfast or not, I'm not going to eat it anyway. 😂

I stayed for one night at Peppers Moonah Links Resort, in Room 10 at St Georges. When we entered the room, it was extremely hot and the air conditioning was broken. When my girlfriend and I woke up, we both had back pain from the bed. I didn’t expect to have this kind of experience. The place itself was fantastic, and the service at reception was very good and friendly.

Had a great stay at Deep Blue Hot Springs. The room was spacious and had a balcony. The breakfast was just a really basic spread. Nothing fancy. Better off spending the money elsewhere, like at a cafe in Warrnambool. The hot springs were great! Really recommend it to anyone staying here 👍🏻

The location is incredibly convenient, with all attractions within easy walking distance. Our room on the 10th floor felt very new, likely having been recently renovated. Overall, a great stay! It would be perfect if there were a discount on parking fees for guests.

CClarrence LeoWe are a family of 5 adult and 1 infant, and we booked 2 rooms separately. We primarily chose this hotel because of the good location next to the domestic terminal and a not-so-expensive price point (compared to Parkroyal which was directly opposite the hotel). The rooms were decently-sized, nothing too luxurious as it catered mainly to travellers transferring in the airport. The hotel had a massive gym, which was surprisingly given that it was mostly empty but they had all kinds of equipment catering to all body parts. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was OK. Not the best food, but at least it filled out stomachs with the standard spread of Western food - fruits, bread, eggs and bacons etc. All in all, would recommend this hotel if you are transitioning at Melbourne for a night and looking for an affordable yet not too shabby place to sleep!

SsweetknellneuThis is definitely a hotel I'd want to stay at again; check-in was super smooth. The room and bed were really small, but it's newly renovated and has everything you need, plus a nice city view from the window. The price was fantastic, and the location is super convenient – you can walk everywhere you want to go in the city. The only downside is that it's a bit close to the train tracks, so light sleepers might want to bring earplugs. The air conditioning kept showing errors and wasn't working very well.

GGuest UserWe initially booked just two nights at the Grand Hyatt Melbourne, but the outstanding service we received made us extend our stay—and I’m so glad we did. The level of attentiveness and genuine care shown by the staff truly elevated our experience. One moment that stood out was during breakfast. My husband asked a staff member at the pastry section whether the items were halal. She explained it to him politely, and to our surprise, about 15 minutes later, the Assistant Director of the restaurant, Mr. Albert, personally came to our table. He took the time to explain the halal options available and even assured us that eggs could be prepared using separate utensils. While I was getting bread, Mr. Albert noticed and came over again, kindly asking if I would like my eggs prepared then. He immediately instructed the chef to prepare eggs and nuggets for me and told me to sit comfortably while he arranged everything to be brought over. His thoughtfulness and proactive service left a lasting impression. It’s rare to see such initiative and care, and it made me feel confident that I had chosen the right hotel. I will definitely recommend Grand Hyatt Melbourne to my family and friends. The hotel is fortunate to have a staff member like Mr. Albert—he truly deserves recognition for his outstanding hospitality.

SSolomon LoOn 24/6 I ordered fried eggs during breakfast, yet the quality of the eggs were not up to standard, yolk was not normal and with no taste at all, yet I ordered same on the next day with a different chef, that was back to a normal egg, I wondered Sheraton would use such quality of eggs! Another opinion is that gym room facilities are not enough, thanks!

3320495****The hotel offers a convenient location with parking available right outside, making it easy for picking up guests. Rooms are generally quiet. Breakfast is provided; it offers good value if it's included in your Ctrip booking without an extra charge, otherwise, it's not worth the additional cost. It's a simple Western breakfast, and the menu doesn't change daily. While the hotel itself is reasonably clean, housekeeping standards are only average. On my first morning, there was no hot water in the bathroom; I had to run the tap for almost half an hour just to get a lukewarm shower. However, after I emailed them, the hot water issue was resolved for the remainder of my stay. Housekeeping repeatedly missed replenishing coffee, provided too few towels, and sometimes even forgot to put on pillowcases. Standard rooms are randomly assigned a queen-sized bed or twin beds. The bed was quite wobbly when turning over. The bathroom features only glass partitions, offering no light isolation or privacy. If you accidentally switch on the main light while using the toilet, you are completely exposed. It's an acceptable stay, but for the same price, you might find better options elsewhere.

YYew Siong TanNovotel Melbourne on Collins was a fantastic base for our family trip! The location truly is perfect – having multiple free city tram stops within 100 meters made exploring effortless. We easily walked to major spots like Flinders Street Station and the stunning State Library Victoria. Food options were plentiful nearby, making ”food hunting” a breeze. A major plus for us was the onsite parking. Renting a car was stress-free knowing we had a guaranteed, convenient spot each night (parking fee applicable, refer to hotel front desk). The room was impressively spacious, comfortably accommodating our family of two adults and a kid. Having two queen-size beds was ideal – everyone had plenty of room to sleep well. **Things that could elevate the experience further:** 1. Breakfast Variety: While the breakfast was good, a wider selection of hot and cold options would be appreciated, especially for a longer stay. 2. TV Upgrade: The current TV channel is very limited. Upgrading to Smart TVs with access to streaming platforms like Netflix and YouTube would be a huge improvement for in-room entertainment, especially for families with young kids / toddler. 3. Shaving Kit Quality:The provided shaving kit's ”cream” (which was a soap) and blade weren't great. Offering a slightly higher quality kit with proper shaving cream would be a noticeable touch. **Overall:** We had a very comfortable and convenient stay thanks to the unbeatable location, easy parking, and spacious family room. Addressing the breakfast variety, TV upgrade, and shaving kit quality would easily push this towards a perfect 5-star experience. Highly recommended, especially for families needing space and city access.

LLawIt is close to the airport, and the hotel shuttle can be reserved to the airport as early as 06:00. There is no convenience store within walking distance, so you have to drive for about ten minutes to reach the shops and restaurants. Fortunately, residents can enjoy discounted parking. There are not many breakfast options, but it is sufficient, but there are few seats. The room space is sufficient and comfortable, and the sanitary conditions are ideal. However, the hotel does not have swimming pools and other recreational facilities, which is more convenient for passengers in transit or for short stays.

RRovelynWe had a fantastic two-night stay at Lancemore Crossley St. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city with easy access to everything. The room was modern, comfortable, and super clean. We loved the attention to detail, and the staff were really friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was relaxed yet chic. VVSingLocation: The hotel is situated in a very quiet area, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Nights were serene with barely any car noise. It’s about a 10-minute drive to a nearby mall with Coles, Kmart, and other essentials—super convenient. For travelers, it’s around 40 minutes from the airport, which is manageable. Cleanliness: This was a mixed bag. Upon entering, we noticed a burnt iron mark and several purple stains on the carpet. We made sure to report these to reception immediately due to the $300 AUD bond fee, to avoid being held responsible. Being close to a lake or river meant encountering mosquitoes and some large flies. We also found spiders in the bathroom, but we managed to catch and release them outdoors. Towels provided were an issue—one was dirty when we checked in, and even the replacement towel the next day had stains. However, the beds were spotless, which was a relief. Service: The front desk staff were excellent—friendly, thorough, and accommodating. They explained all the amenities, including the location of the gym and pool, and handled our late checkout request graciously. Facilities: Although I didn’t personally use the gym or pool, the in-room facilities stood out. The smart TV was a bonus, with access to YouTube, Disney+, and Prime Video, ensuring entertainment for the family. Room: The two-bedroom apartment was incredibly spacious, with two bedrooms flanking a central living room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom, complete with an exhaust fan to keep the heat out. The beds were the highlight—so soft and comfortable, providing an excellent night’s sleep. Overall: While the initial issues with bugs were unpleasant (I dislike insects), once we cleared them out, the stay became very enjoyable. The spacious layout, serene environment, and cozy beds made it a pleasant experience overall.
