Hye guys! Malaysian review here 🇲🇾 I stayed at Bedford Hotel Brussels for 4 days 3 nights with my family and honestly we’re super satisfied. Location very strategic, dekat city centre betul-betul. Cuma masa mula-mula sampai tu agak jauh sikit nak jalan kaki dari bahnhof ke hotel sebab waktu tu kami belum beli public transport ticket lagi. Tapi once dah ada ticket, tram & bus memang dekat dengan hotel and terus boleh go around the area, so memang senang nak go anywhere. Area around the hotel pun easy to find halal-friendly food, memang banyak actually, so jangan risau, just cari memang ada yang halal certified 👍 Room quite spacious, clean and comfortable for family stay. Service pun tip top, honestly nothing to complain. I asked for extra blanket pun mereka cepat hantar terus ke bilik hihi 🤍 Overall memang recommended kalau datang Brussels with family ✨

The location is excellent, just a 2-minute walk from the South Station exit. I arrived early, and the front desk staff allowed me to check in 40 minutes ahead of time, which meant I could take a hot shower right away.

The hotel location is quite good as it was just a few minutes to the bus/train station. The breakfast is very basic, though. No amenities such as kettle, cups or phone to call the reception.in the room. The check-in time was long, as there was only 1 person present and the queue was quite long.

Close to the center about 15 minutes walk from the Grand Place. Very large and well-kept hotel. Perfect isolation, there was construction right in front and you couldn't hear a single noise. Very comfortable and pleasant. Very friendly staff. A pleasure.

Strategic location. It’s within walking distance to Brussels Midi train station, where you can travel almost anywhere at your fingertips. The surrounding area is not as dangerous as many people claim. There’s a free 24-hour coffee machine, which is great for travelers like us. The only downside is that the lift is quite slow, and there aren’t many eateries nearby, at least for my taste.

This hotel is conveniently located a 5-10 minute walk from Brussels North Station, right next to the FLIX bus stop. From there, you can easily access the airport, city center, Bruges, and Ghent, all with direct connections. Many Asian travelers, including Japanese guests, stay here. While breakfast starting at 7 AM is a bit late and the food service can be slow, the quality is excellent and definitely worth over 20 Euros. One downside is the lack of nearby restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, or mini-supermarkets in this central business district, though you can find these at the station. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel's location is quite good. I also enjoyed the breakfast. The staff was very polite and helpful. I only wish the people in my room were quieter so I could ”sleep well”.

GGuest UserOverall nice service and good location. But there’s no coffee machine in the room…🤣🤣🤣 It’s a bit surprise for me. It was quite busy at the lounge bar that night, we waited for 40 mins for the waiters to take the order…hopefully the hotel would increase the numbers of the staff in the bar. 🥰

GGuest UserThe Floris Arlequin Grand Place Hotel is a great city-break hotel in the 'Heart of the Heart of Europe'. Very well placed for both the bustling restaurants and bars, and also the magnificent historical sights of Brussels and the fantastic shopping streets. Surprisingly quiet and relaxing considering it being so close to the city centre area. Many popular attractions were nearby and the hotel is only a few minutes walk to the excellent public transport system should you wish to go further afield, like the Atomium. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. Great big comfortable bed and ensuite bathroom with a powerful hot shower. The room had a handy mini fridge and a modern TV with streaming services. WiFi was also excellent I did try the breakfast and while the continental elements were nice the cooked parts were a bit disappointing. The bacon was a bit overcooked and the sausage was the tinned hot-dog variety made worse by spending too long being kept warm. You would hope that being in a country with fantastic food and meat products you might find some proper breakfast sausages. A minor issue and other than that the rest of the breakfast selection was fine. The breakfast area was kept clean and the staff kept the self-service area stocked up. If you want a convenient, clean and comfortable city break hotel within easy reach of everything Brussels has to offer I can highly recommend Floris Arlequin Grand Place Hotel.

AAnonymous UserHere are some details that the hotel could manage better: 1. Water pressure not strong enough 2. Only 4 hanger hooks on the bathroom door, not enough and far to get the clothes after shower. 3. Artist decor shelves look cool, but not practical for travellers. We need a work desk instead. The tea table is too small for two people to dine, and not even great for doing work. Socket is far, and you will need a 2-3m cable to connect your it to your laptop in the sofa area. 4. Check in process took an hour to be done, but there is no chair for the check-in costumer. The city tax was mistakenly collected. When I showed the prepaid proof, I was asked to send an email to the company to ask for file an investigation. Later in 15mins, I got immediately refund after I asked of if I should contact my travel agent. The room keycard failed to access the first room. It took the receptionists to figure out the solution and I got a new card for another room in 15mins. The efficiency was very low and not smooth at all. 5. We went back to the room after feeling cold stepping out of the hotel around 10am. Later found out two housekeepers started to vacuum the floor and clear the bathroom. We wanted to change our clothes and use the toilet, but they don’t understand. The lady went in and out the bathroom showing impatience and long face. We felt disrupting their work, and we could only get changed in front of the housekeepers in the living room and excuse the lady to let us use the toilet. 6. I once swam in a pool with more than 20 people. It was super crowded. What’s the point of making appointment of using the pool? Besides of the aforementioned, there are still something I like. + There are not many hotels offer pool in Brussels. This hotel has a cool pool on the rooftop with sun baths on each side, and wonderful city view in the both sides of terrace. The pool design is great. + Check in place is in the 2nd floor, bigger than in the lobby of the building. The bar, waiting area and 4 check-in desks are connected in the same area. +Quick lift - It will bring you directly to the floor you press for +The basic room is very spacious and cosy. I enjoyed my stay here. Very quiet all day.

KKate ThomCheck-in is 3pm and we arrived at 3pm but the room was only ready at almost 4pm. The story was that it was cleaned already but ”awaiting inspection”. We were handed 2 bar coupons with a blithe apology in rapid fire French for our 50 min wait. The vacuuming in the room left much to be desired. When we got into the room on the 1st day, there was a pistachio at the side of the bed. My sister's dust allergy was triggered throughout our 4 day stay. When we opted for housekeeping on the 3rd of the 4 days we stayed, the same pistachio remained there after the cleaning staff were done. Towels and bed linens were refreshed but the coffee/tea and bathroom amenities were not. If you choose the Deluxe twin room like we did, please note that the room is 24 metre square and there is only room to open up one medium sized suitcase on the ground. Our other suitcase had to be accessed via the wardrobe which was spacious enough to keep the 2nd suitcase in. Location wise, it's ideal and a stone's throw from Grand Place - the historic city centre, and many shops and good brasseries. It's a 10 min uphill walk from the hotel to the nearest train station called Brussel Centraal / Bruxelles-Midi which will bring you straight to the Brussels Airport in 17 min on the direct train (1st class carriage €12.10). The buffet breakfast is plentiful and of good quality (with eggs cooked to order) in a nice space with a courtyard view crewed by pleasant staff fluent in English. The bar has a relaxing ambience with an outdoor view and affordable drinks. My guide is always how much the increasingly rare digestif liqueur Chartreuse Verte costs. It was €14 per pour. Note : You get a free coupon for a soft drink/coffee/beer/wine if you pass up on room cleaning. If you have a short stay, you should as there wasn't much cleaning done.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic, within walking distance to all major attractions in the city. Being able to stroll over to the illuminated Grand Place at night was a huge plus! Aside from the breakfast being a bit pricey and the room being smaller than what you'd typically find in a 4-star hotel in China, everything else was great. Especially the bed and pillows – super comfortable!
