GGuest UserThe hotel delivers a sleek, modern experience in the heart of the Akwa business district, with well‑appointed rooms, balconies and ample amenities including a spa, pool and tennis court.
Guests routinely praise the friendly staff and clean, comfortable accommodations—many felt safe and well looked‑after during their stay.
On the flip side, a few guests noted some service inconsistencies (e.g., WiFi strength, breakfast variety) and minor maintenance issues such as dirty windows or worn hallway carpets.
Overall: A strong choice for a premium stay in Douala—especially if you value modern comfort and strong service—just be aware of minor operational quirks.

Great
GGuest UserIt was very clean ,location excellent, prefect breakfast buffet and security top notch. I was disappointed that a hotel that standard doesn’t have bathrobes . They told me bathrobes were only for suites;when I know even basic hotel around the world have bathrobes, that answer left me confused .
Also the buffet for the evening meal was ok. I wish it had more Cameroonian meals or more grill

OOps MontereyHotel staff are friendly. Food is not worth the price. Location is good. I think it's a bit more pricey than competitors. Clean rooms. I will go back if I happen to need it again in the future!
