This is one of the few times I've felt compelled to leave a review, mainly for the following reasons:
1. **Location:** The hotel is situated right on the Songhua River. The subway Line 3 Youyi Palace station is directly across the street, making it incredibly convenient to get around. About 200 meters ahead, you'll find the Songhua River Cableway, and Central Street is just a five-minute walk away. The location is truly excellent! 👍🏻
2. **Hotel Environment:** We dropped off our luggage in the morning and didn't return until around 5 PM. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a family suite free of charge. It was a very spacious two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite, complete with children's toiletries, a tent, and toys. My child's favorite was definitely the car-shaped bed.
3. **Service:** The service was incredibly thoughtful. My mother-in-law and I went down separately to return our room cards. Two staff members helped us carry our luggage to the entrance, waited for our car to arrive, loaded our bags into the trunk, opened the car door for us, and even said, 'Princesses, please board the carriage!' 😁 I've stayed in five-star hotels before, but I've never experienced such exceptional treatment. I was honestly a bit overwhelmed by the attention, but it was a wonderful feeling. Their warmth felt genuinely friendly and personable.
Choosing this hotel was a delightful surprise for this trip. It was super convenient. After dinner on Central Street, we strolled to the Flood Control Monument and walked along the river, enjoying the breeze back to the hotel. It was such a relaxing trip. My kids kept saying, 'Mom, next time we go to Harbin, let's stay at this hotel again!' After checking out, we arrived at the station, and my child realized they'd forgotten their smart watch. I contacted the hotel, and they kindly mailed it back to us. Many thanks! 🙏🏻

The environment is great, and the hotel staff are exceptional—very attentive and their service is top-notch. The room had no strange odors and was very comfortable to sleep in. It was a nearly perfect stay. From the elegant atmosphere upon entering the lobby to the professionalism of the front desk staff, everything showcased quality. Quiet, comfortable, and luxurious, it's an ideal residence in the city. Highly recommended.

This time, mini_cloud stayed in a European-style hotel near Central Avenue in Harbin. It was super convenient for shopping and dining. The room had drinks, and they delivered fresh fruit every day. The hotel's breakfast buffet was also amazing; I was surprised to find substantial dishes like roast meat, sausages, and prawns, along with local specialties like Guo Bao Rou (fried pork in sweet and sour sauce) and red sausage. There was also a great selection of fruits and desserts. Every staff member I encountered, whether at the front desk, in the restaurant, or housekeeping, was incredibly warm and polite. They always proactively helped with my luggage when I arrived and departed. When checking out, an uncle even gave me a souvenir — a small orange package with coffee and candies, which perfectly matched the color of my clothes! Mini_cloud had a wonderful vacation in Harbin.

Highly recommend!!! When I came to Harbin, I wanted to experience Russian culture, so I specifically chose the 1903 Grand Mansion on Trip.com, which had the highest rating. The hotel has an amazing ambiance, and my child even got to experience a free Russian costume change, which they absolutely loved. We also checked out the antique elevators, two of only a few left in the country and still in operation, immersing ourselves in the charm of vintage times. The hotel also gifted us a museum visit, which my child enjoyed until closing time. We had to check out at 4 AM for an early flight, and the staff thoughtfully helped us with our luggage. The most heartwarming part was when I accidentally left something behind, and the hotel helped mail it back to me. The service is truly exceptional!

Love the hotel. Perfect location, good cleanliness, good front counter. At first got a room with smoke smell but they immediately change another room for me. Laundry room available at 8am-8pm. It will be great if it’s available 24 hours as we can get our laundry done after hanging out all day. Room size is perfect size

This is the first five-star review I've given a hotel all year. The hotel is right next to Central Street and very close to the Central Street subway station. There are plenty of dining options around the hotel, and of course, Central Street itself is great for shopping, so the location is excellent. But these are secondary; the hotel's overall service and facilities were truly impressive. The staff's warm service and the perfect facilities left a deep impression on me. Even though we only had one suitcase, the doorman helped us carry it all the way to our room. The room wasn't huge, but it was very well-equipped, especially the fully automatic toilet. The shower pressure was excellent, and the water temperature was just right. The quality of the dental kit was also very good; I even took a new set home. Besides the buffet, it seems there are also special daily offerings for breakfast, and afternoon tea is provided. The room was also very quiet, which was a huge plus. This will definitely be my top choice when I visit Harbin again.

The hotel boasts a great location, situated at the northernmost end of Central Street. A right turn outside leads directly to Central Street and the Flood Control Monument, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city center. It also features its own parking lot, a rarity for hotels on Central Street. However, be aware that the rooms are relatively small. The standard double room is practically just enough space for the bed, with no desk. The suites have a separate small room with a TV and coffee table, but are also quite cramped. Overall, the hotel offers good value for money this season, especially convenient for those with a car. The staff are also very friendly and helpful, making it a highly recommended hotel.

This was my first time visiting Harbin, and I was so lucky to stay at the Novotel. The location is incredibly convenient; you can walk to St. Sophia Cathedral and Central Street, and it's only about a 20 RMB taxi ride to most attractions. There's a bus stop right outside and a subway station a short walk away – truly convenient. What I loved most was the service; they were so accommodating. I had a small issue during check-in, and the front desk resolved it quickly and efficiently. The room was spacious, bright, and very clean, equipped with a refrigerator, humidifier, and air purifier. The TV even shows the real-time status of the laundry room. Oh, and you get free laundry and drying! Of all the hotels I've stayed in, their washing machines are the largest – my hoodies and pants were dry after about 50 minutes of drying. You absolutely must try the free breakfast; they have freshly fried *Guo Bao Rou* (sweet and sour pork), which is crispy and delicious, plus made-to-order noodles, congee, and various steamed buns. The variety is excellent, and it's all complimentary. The best part is that all of this, including everything mentioned above, costs just over 200 RMB. I highly recommend it!
This is the first time in decades I've left a negative review on Ctrip, and this stay was an absolute nightmare, no exaggeration. I chose what's supposed to be the best hotel in Mohe, but I didn't get a wink of sleep. The hotel has large fans running at night, and lying in bed, my ear on the pillow, created a resonant effect with the noise (I wonder if anyone can understand or relate to that). I called the front desk to ask for a room change, but was told there were no other rooms of that type available. I said, 'If there's an issue with this room, it shouldn't be assigned!' Ultimately, no solution was found!!! The next morning, I had a splitting headache and tearfully complained to the front desk. They apologized and offered a late checkout until 2 PM, but my Ctrip benefits already allowed for a 2 PM checkout anyway!! I asked to speak to the front desk manager or lobby manager and was told the leaders weren't in... Again, no resolution! I had planned to stay three nights in Mohe, but ended up buying a flight to Harbin for that very day. My final checkout time was 3:30 PM. I was truly, truly, truly, truly, truly distraught! It's been two days since I arrived in Harbin and my head still hurts. Extremely disappointed! I hope the Ctrip platform can advocate for a loyal customer of decades.
The photos are my own, taken directly at the large equipment downstairs that caused the noise. I showed them to the hotel front desk and suggested their managers stay one night to experience my suffering! They just chuckled and gave no response! I stayed in room 802.

What's it like to be a ”castle owner” for a night?
The Sun Island Castle Hotel, located on the scenic banks of the Songhua River, boasts a charming European architectural style. The first floor is home to various small eateries, while the entire second floor is dedicated to the hotel guest rooms. From the third floor, you can directly access the cross-river cable car, and the fourth floor houses the Chocolate Castle Museum. This museum features an incredibly diverse collection of chocolates, and outside, there's an observation deck – a superb spot to admire the Songhua River's night view.
The hotel's location is excellent, offering incredibly convenient transportation. Besides the cable car, you can also take a cruise ship across the river. The sightseeing bus also stops here, making it easy to visit all the attractions on Sun Island, with the freedom to hop on and off as you please.
This time, I stayed in the most affordable ”Viscount Interior Room.” The room was spacious and well-equipped, with furnishings that truly captured the grand essence of a castle. The only minor drawback was the lack of a window, meaning I couldn't enjoy the natural scenery outside – a small regret.
It's worth noting that, compared to the opulent guest rooms, the hotel's front desk seemed a bit understated. The small reception counter is tucked away in a corner on the first floor, which felt a little out of sync with the ”Chocolate Castle” theme. Personally, I suggest designing the front desk in the shape of chocolate and having the reception staff wear more distinctive attire. Wouldn't that better align with the magical theme of this place?
Overall, this was a surprisingly delightful stay, highly recommended for those who appreciate unique hotels.

YYanggaomeinvTraveling to Harbin with my child, our first stop was the Xana Hotel (Harbin Central Street Sophia Church). The hotel's location is perfect, situated in the middle-north section of Central Street, making it incredibly convenient for getting anywhere. Zhaolin Park is just 100 meters east, across the street, and the main Central Street is 50 meters west. St. Sophia Cathedral is about 500-800 meters away on foot. The hotel lobby was super cozy, offering a stamp check-in and afternoon tea. The staff provided excellent service. Since I hadn't planned my trip and decided to go last minute, I asked about Harbin's specialties. They even added me on WeChat and sent me a guide to dining, entertainment, and attractions around the hotel. The breakfast was incredibly rich, meeting all the nutritional needs (meat, eggs, milk, fruit) required for traveling with a child. On the day of check-out, I decided last minute to take some travel photos with my child near St. Sophia, which delayed our check-out time. The staff kindly extended our check-out until 2 PM for free. All in all, our first stop in Harbin made us feel so warm. If you're staying around Central Street, Xana is definitely the best choice!!! I've already recommended it to many friends since returning to Beijing. 😙😙😙

XXiniangniangqiansuiqianqiansuiThis is an excellent hotel! The breakfast is incredibly refined and shows so much care – it's like they're always thinking about giving you the very best, and wouldn't dare serve anything less. For a hotel to operate this way, it's truly commendable. Can we please give an award to all the staff on duty? The room decor is similar to what you'd find at a Sofitel. Every single staff member greets you with a smile and works diligently. And I mean *every* staff member! I genuinely recommend this hotel to everyone. The breakfast is superior to what you'd find at H World Group hotels and other chains, and even surpasses some higher-starred hotels. It's truly a small but beautiful gem of a hotel.

AAnonymous UserWe specifically chose the Ritz-Carlton Harbin to celebrate our anniversary. We informed the hotel in advance about our needs, and everything was perfectly arranged before our arrival. The room offered a panoramic view of the Songhua River, and the sunset was truly stunning. Choosing the Ritz for such an important occasion was definitely the right decision. Teasel (a staff member) even asked about our stay experience and invited us to return in the future. We are extremely satisfied!

GGuest UserThe hotel is clean, spacious, and bright, with complete and convenient facilities. It's right next to Saint Sophia Cathedral and a 10-minute walk from Central Street. Downstairs, there's a department store with everything you could need. The hotel breakfast is also delicious, with a rich variety of dishes, including halal options, and new dishes are introduced daily. The front desk service is warm and efficient; we bothered them quite a bit, but they were always patient and helpful. The soundproofing in the room is excellent too, making for a very comfortable stay. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.

GGuest UserPros:
1. The room was very spacious, luxuriously decorated, and the ambiance was elegant, making for a comfortable stay.
2. The facilities were excellent. The toilet was a smart toilet, and the room had both a humidifier and an air purifier.
3. The service was thoughtful and attentive. The front desk staff handled issues efficiently and promptly, and their attitude was very good.
Cons:
1. The hotel's hot spring is open to the public, and during the Chinese New Year, it was quite crowded. Guests didn't have a dedicated entrance and had to queue at the door to get a wristband before entering, which was inconvenient.
2. There was only one outdoor hot spring pool; all the others were indoors. This wasn't quite what I expected. I wish there were more outdoor pools, especially since the hotel's main selling point is its hot spring.
3. The gym had a limited number of machines, which wasn't quite enough. Also, there was a lack of equipment maintenance; the handles on some machines were too slippery. The gym's access control seemed to have an issue, as sometimes the card swipe wouldn't work.

GGuest UserStaying at Qushe B&B in Yabuli for a summer getaway was absolutely delightful! The guesthouse is surrounded by lush greenery, and when you open the window, all you see are mountains and forests. The air is so fresh, it feels like a natural oxygen bar. The room was tastefully decorated, and both the AC and fan worked great. I didn't even need the AC at night; the mountain breeze was wonderfully cool. The owner also recommended some nearby hiking trails, where the streams gurgled along, and the scenery was unbelievably beautiful. Breakfast included freshly picked blueberries and farm-fresh eggs – healthy and delicious. In the evening, I relaxed in the yard, stargazing and listening to the sounds of insects. It was so incredibly peaceful. I'll definitely be back next summer for another vacation. This place is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life!
